Thanks for putting my guide on first page. Anyhow, I'll still amend the guide as previously was reported by another former that there is an issue with the guide. Will look into the guide again tomorrow. Been a busy two days biggrin.gif

Gratz on v6

Oh yeah my name listed already in owner list. My unit is on week 50 this year (2 weeks ago) and to be disappointed, my screen a bit yellowish... but i don't mind, at least same as my other phone.

Haven't have time to play around with it yet. I just finish update to 290.

And yes, I get the free docking smile.gif

Sorry if unrelated but this thread seems active.

My brother recently bought an Xperia. Does he have to register online to a Sony account?

So far so good. You might want to check your s3 for sudden death syndrome. My s3 died and made the switch to z1

Based on my experience for 1 month so far,

This phone is smooth like butter.
Crash/hang twice but that's probably the apps causing the crash because when I uninstalled it works fine again.
It was the floating app, forgot which one because I test a few.

In other note this phone fell from my pocket twice, not a slight dent on the body.

buttery smooth... even though my phone is rooted, i don't feel the needs to disable/uninstall any un-use system apps.

cons...
check the screen. some may not like the viewing angle
loudspeaker, i find it not clear enuf when answering call, but still acceptable.
some said the volume is not loud enuf, but for me it is definitely very loud

the UI... though not really a cons la cos sony's UI is more to pure android feel... but for some samsung user, they find the UI too simple and some functions lacking in Sony. may need to install 3rd party apps to compensate. u'll need to test it out yourself.

did any of you notice, there's another symbol pop up on screen to show the stability of the phone?
it shows a tripod....useful to know if you have a very stable hand/actually using a tripod

but i dont think it would appear in Manual mode...had tried putting it on table using Auto mode and it did appear
