I was thinking whether should buy z1 or note 3.
Anyone can give any advise? will Z1 lag while multitasking because I hate laggy phone?

For me Z1, been using for 6 month from now. So far touch wood no issue and the best is this phone is waterproof.

z1, i switch from gnote2, love z1 design and the rest of it so far

haha... sounds weird your problem. but since u said u tested in the service menu that the speaker is ok and speech also no problem, then i guess there's nothing wrong with your phone. may be the network problem. but weird only u reported this problem so far

anyone encounter the camera button quick launch function not working after 136 update? i found out mine not working...

Only sometimes for me...i just unlock the phone,then lock it again then it works fine..

yeah... mine too... but sometimes lock and relock won't do the trick.

Since the update apps crashing much frequent..wifi somtimes says association rejected i think..my phone freezes twice since this update..never freezes before..hopefully kitkat is much better than the current firmware..

have u tried factory reset? cos if after update and u r facing alot of hangs or crashes... it is recommended to do a factory reset

The Z1 was only announced in September last year. It is highly unlikely they will replace their flagship a mere 7 months after announcement.

Rumors have been going around of a D6503 Sirius being tested. That concides with the model number of the current Xperia ZL. Which also coincidentally was launched roughly this time last year. A Z2 would probably have a model number of D6903, assuming they stick to current naming convention.

So in all likelihood, it will be the Xperia Z1L that is launched during that MWC event. Which I'm guessing will be roughly a Z1 with no water + dust proofing and plastic body. Some say it will also have a smaller bezel and bigger screen. Who knows, eh?

yeah...hope so. could the magnetic on my previous case (Mercury) cause it? I only start noticing it after i install the case. I'm no longer using the case

well, as i know anything magnetic does have some side effect on speaker or even display... but really hard to say for sure

Too lazy to restore the apps and setting after factory reset so havent done it yet...will do it after kitkat is released..

Btw,anyone knows how to disable the sound if you quick launch the camera while your phone is locked?pretty annoying for me..

on the result report, Sony tuned down their estimate for the quarter as the company do not plan to introduce a flagship phone this year. So, Z2 is still long to go...

A replacement for Z1 or not, can't really sure yet but is possible another flagship which is better than Z1.

7 months to replace another flagship is nothing, Now flagship is for 1/2 year only, no longer a year.
