bc bring out to sea very gung ho 1. so far i only know gong lei bring bc everywhere, he power sial. u should watch his videos on youtube. 1 of my most respected anglers (china) . all pure BC nia,

because out in sea, boat rocking, u chau maifun birdnest u take too long out of water is no good.
and bc not cheap not versatile like spinning. but when castin, fuiyooooo bc syiok lor. top water especially. manyak syiok manyak accurate.

i stick to spinning and tin gao coz bajet constraint. kenot have so many set later children no need go college.

BC reel can be used as jigging reel right? that'll eliminate the need to keep releasing the spinning reel's bail.

if like that, might as well get an overhead reel and ditch the bc since it'll be multipurpose.

my son kept asking me for a BC set though he cant even cast a decent distance on spinning. havent graduate with spinning reel yet.... sure hai lat wallet if buy for him.

i see this Vluq guy use ATC BC for his jigging and that's why i thought of using it for both jig and casting purpose.

Bc for casting very nice and accurate. For jigging not so versatile.

Bail release on spinning better easier. Less Chau mai fun. The last thing u want is bird nest when on a rocking drifting boat waiting for being or intermediate angler.

Overhead reel nice but not really suitable for pond. Direct drop like jig or bottom fishing can la.

That's why most versatile is spinning reel. Can use to cast, can bottom, can jig. Spend less money buy so many setup. 1 spinning settle all conditions. Only when turn pro then buy la more specifics reel.

wanna ask how is the experience like at Fish Valley@Semenyih?
Planning to go somewhere else to try out around Klang Valley (only place used to go is sek24).
read from blogs and FV facebook, seems quite a nice place.
so few questions like:
1) price range?
2) baits used? provided there?
3) nets available to bring up the fish?

Didn't manage to find and place suitable for casting, unless you cast at the boating area.
Not sure they allow or not. Only place i found is near the makan shop.

Not sure got drain there or not... Need to check the map as I've been there once only.
Not many place accessible also as i round the area there.

went to FV over the weekend.
first time there and i think so so only that place. maybe the fishes there like specifically some special pellet/roti..i dunno.
was using small fish as bait and caught a belida tho.
then change to earthworm, pellet, no bites.

anyway, was googling another place and just got to know this place in shah alam, called FIshOn (Batu Bata). any FR on this place?
seems quite ok. can cast and bottom fishing

Never been to FishOn, but been too TowFoo Sport Fishing at Kundang.
Can cast and bottom fishing too. But people there mostly fish for Mekong.
