hello all anglers,
last Sat and last last Sat me n frens went to Sek24 fishing pond, spend around 10 hours but catch around 2-3 fishes only (small size patin n pacu). how come other ppl can catch big BIG BIGGGGG mekong? am i using the wrong bait? what bait is advisable to use over there? the abang that works there say use pallets,which we did try last Sat but didnt manage to get any. but he did gave a 2-3 small baby lampan, hook for us n cast, not even 2 mins can see kena makan n got a patin @@ pls give some advise for this area (which pondok to sit, where to cast, bait, timing etc) thanks all sifus anglers. |

Btw, at sek24, at entrance I see their signboard got alligator gar, araipama etc. rly got wan ah ?

quest to catch an alligator gar at sek24 until now really
 (not trying to catch a mekong like most of them are. so far all my live baits (lampam / talapia/ keli) kena sapu by chao praya, catfish, toman or pacu. how to catch that damn gar?!! ggrrrrr!!! any advise sifus? what is the suitable timing? which spot? my setup is float with an additional line hooked on the live bait as i read that gar normally go up to makan. correct me if i'm wrong. |

been 2 months since last visit Exotic.
that time rm100/3hrs, now 4hrs..kinda racun to go back there again. was using chicken heart (kept for 2 days outside in the sun) as bait, bite rate was ok ok..until late night only. evening kinda less active. since now got 4hrs promo, will dropby this month xD on a side note, seems that sek24 got some new fishes as well. anyone gotten it yet? sek24 is ok but over populated with ppl and many kiasus >.< |

hi guys, its been a while since i last went fishing.
if i recall, my last action was at exotic rawang. but i read few pages back that they have moved to Behrang. currently my friends is asking say they wanna try fishing. but i can't think of any good place except exotic. or maybe sek24 but that place a bit meh.. any other place to recommend that have similar environment and fish like exotic? if not i guess need to drive up to behrang for day trip then can go ipoh makan2..LOL! |

hmm..after googling, aint that far also though, max 1 hour from PJ can reach Exotic Behrang. any idea what baits they allow? same as rawang last time (any types)?
edit: just read a blog. 1)Only Single de-barbed hooks are allowed (refer to our Vlog above on how to de-barb hooks). Jigs and Spoons are not allowed to minimise deliberate foul hooking of fish. 2)Live bait will be available for purchase (Catfish) however smelly baits such as the famed chicken liver are no longer allowed. question. 1) meaning no casting? 2) ok so no more usage of smelly baits, got it! but can we bring our own live bait (lampam/baby talipia)? can use kerang ah? Been 2 years plus didn't go fishing. Heading to sek24 later in the evening. Instead of getting the bait at the counter, can still bring live bait there right? I used to buy some lampam and use as bait last time. Can get chao phraya or Amazon.

ok, went to sek24 with some lampan and keli.
reach there around 530pm, fished until 1am. caught 5 chao phraya myself and friends also a few. didn't realize now that the trend there many ppl using chopped keli as bait. also at counter got sell frozen fish. |

Planning to go somewhere else to try out around Klang Valley (only place used to go is sek24). read from blogs and FV facebook, seems quite a nice place. so few questions like: 1) price range? 2) baits used? provided there? 3) nets available to bring up the fish? thank u~ |

went to FV over the weekend.
first time there and i think so so only that place. maybe the fishes there like specifically some special pellet/roti..i dunno. was using small fish as bait and caught a belida tho. then change to earthworm, pellet, no bites. anyway, was googling another place and just got to know this place in shah alam, called FIshOn (Batu Bata). any FR on this place? seems quite ok. can cast and bottom fishing |

hi all sifus,
been a while since i got into any power action. last time used to visit natural [email protected] but ever since they move to behrang, never got the chance to go. any sifus can advise on a suitable gear? thinking wanna upgrade to a more sturdy build. rod = was looking at ugly stik gx2 (is this still available in the market?) reel = unsure yet but maybe a 4000 size baits = read some blog, they use live lampam or cut keli. can pakai chicken heart ah? any other advise? edit: are Kastking products ok? was also looking at their stuffs.
