Casting ke bottom ?

Kat sini always bottom. For some reason, casting doesn't work that well.

I want to go to belum resort area to try casting for toman. Anyone knows a guide that does the chalet and then bring you casting in the morning? I don't want those international rates which is super crazy like 1 night rm1k. So long i got a place to bunk and then enjoy the nature and fishing that will be best. Any ideas please do comment.

I've been contemplating on going for a casting trip to Royal Belum as well. Craving for wild Sebarau and Toman bites !

The last time I been there was in the mid-90s. At that time, they still have those floating chalets with super cheap rates.

Not sure the chalets are still there or not. You can read this information that I took from the Royal Belum website - FULL DAY FISHING TOUR RATES IN ROYAL BELUM.

Best is to go in group. Make your own group for the trip or hook up with a right fishing group and go with them. That'll save money since you can divide the cost and safer as well since you can look out for each other. I heard there are certain guide that'll bring you to a great place to cast, other is just so-so. The more economical style is to go camping and get a guide but must have a cook or two within the group.

I was asked by some anglers to join them fishing there but going into jungle is a little too much for me nowadays so that's the only thing I could share with you

Spent RM35 at Kolam Seksyen 24 last Sat and i didnt get any hookups for 6 hours. Not even one.

I didnt know it was RM35 now or else i wouldnt have gone there. Totally ban that place & wont go again.

Why not try kolam taman u at sri kembangan? Last week went there managed to hook 4 siakaps under 3 hours. And if get above 4kg need to release back they will give u rm50. Rm45 for 3hours and rm55 for 6hours (after 12am)

Actually last week was my first time lor. They have just clean their pond replaced the water and so on. Some of my friend went lure casting some live prawn casting. Seem like all the fishes we got were from live prawn casting, not a single one from lure casting. Maybe u can try ur luck lure casting there.

There are 2 ponds, kolam atas and kolam bawah. The one I went was kolam bawah. Siakap and kaci.

I went to this pond before but it was a few years ago and they had only 1 pond.

Most syiok feeling is ultralight but not for me since i am no expert and no confidence in those. Small mistake then fish gone 😅. I am using spinning 2500 with 15lbs braid as main. If BC also i put 15lbs braid as main line. Pair with light rods with poundage 8-16lbs

went to behrang exotic again yesterday.

my gear setup putus non-stop again. 120lb leader also putus. knnccb. the fish there revived kau kau.

managed to hook up the mekong 60kg++
managed to hook up the red tail 40kg++
managed to hook up the stupid siamese carp <20kg

last time when during rawang days of exotic the siamese carp gavbe me the mmost fight .....that time i hook up was 50+kg. fight like fark. now the siamese carp shrink in size liao no fight.

i think i lost about 100m of leader and god knows how many hooks and how many lure and my main braided line i think i lost more than 100m also.

maximum tiredness after 4 hours.
