Howdy folks! Just started fishing about 2 months ago. Been trying my luck at jetties like Wak Sempo and Angler's Resort. Been getting like 1-2 fishes every trip (usually gelama)

Any other jetties that I can try my luck at? Not a fan of payponds (ok la, I'm a bit kiamsiap) Ideally should be about an hour's drive from Serdang if possible. Thanks sifus.

Hahaha. Cannot go daily la. Only go on Saturday mornings.

Caught 2 of these fellers in Sepang yesterday. This will make a nice Sunday night dinner. 😀

Abe Jamal nak try tangkap Patin Sungai liar ke? Head to Dengkil. Spot is near the Tamil school/Market. Bawah jambatan. Fish in the spot before the market. Pulled up a 1.5 kg Patin couple months back. Umpan roti Gardenia Aje. But don't go too near the shore, ada buaya. Serious.


I'm off to Sepang now. Nak lepas gian LOL.

Nope. I'm too cheapskate to main kolam. Pancing kat Jeti jer. Jeti Asri, sebelah Wak Sempo. RM5 per rod.

Tak kumpau! Dapat Sesirat besar dgn ikan duri 5 inchi. After 7 hours of fishing. Oh waaaaai.... 😐

Memang takde rezeki.

Kat sini always bottom. For some reason, casting doesn't work that well.

Went to Tanjung Harapan yesterday. Found a fishing jetty and the jetty itself sold live prawns etc as bait. RM7 per rod. Jetty condition looks kinda scary with no guardrails. There are shelters all along the 30m jetty. Tide was high and beginning to subside around 10am when I got there. About 5 anglers trying their luck.

Then came the rain around 3pm. Shelters were quite inadequate to protect us from the rain. Basah kuyup yo. So, hows the fishing there? Pathetic. I was there for 10 hours. I didn't get anything nor did anyone else. Won't be going there again.

Understood. I never did go with high expectations but usually anywhere I go I'll at least get a Gelama. But his was really bad la.
