QUOTE(acheong7 @ Dec 11 2014, 11:17 AM) Directly behind the building there are a few small ponds, and there is a bigger pond beside the tar road, probably 50m walk. Few days back saw a photo in facebook of a 1.5kg haruan there. Couldnt find back the photo unfortunately. The small ponds you have to use topwater frog because its very weedy. Even nicer would be the area inside the palm oil estate but that unless you have a motorbike or a bicycle it will be hard to access. This post has been edited by Proclaimer: Dec 12 2014, 02:33 PM |

But i did see big splashes in pond though.just before the QCell pond there's a dirt track turnoff to the left small pockets of water dot the inside and a stream as well ... even have black water but no fish no idea how it is now But you're right, the water colour like teh ais. Abit hard to catch anything with water that colour in my opinion. |

If I'm not mistake the Toman pond opens only on weekends and public holidays, 2 sessions per day which are 7am - 11am and 3pm - 7pm. Fees would be RM100 per session (4 hours)P/S: Assuming the price and the sessions are still the same. Last I went there was last year |

From my experience, no prior booking is needed. What I used to do whenever fishing Toman, I always cast as near as possible to the fish where they rise. The bite rate is better comparing to normal casting (as least thats for me
