i did the 4.3 OTA upgrade last week, nothing is lost, all works fine. maybe because i did not install to many app in it. Was hoping that the camera will be like Galaxy Nexus but that did not materialised.

Anybody using Cm 11 temasek 's can teach me 2 things please,
1 if how to prevent the white light on top "blinking a second" when u open an app/ example browser /google play store

2.how to stop the softkey light from glowing when touching the screen, i have already disable back light -.- theres 2 option mentioned about the back light i put disable+never, anythoughts pls?

the S3 keeps failing to read memory card.
OS crashes and now total black screen cannot boot.

(Have tried factory boot Power+Vol.Up+Home, Power+Vol.Down+Home, Power+Vol)

Im so in in love wit slimkat 4.4.2...been using for 2 days...wifi, bluetooth streaming all good..battery live also good !! :-)

came across a friend's s3 who keep restarting randomly for no reason..
note that it's not boot loop, the phone was able to start up properly. the reboot comes in randomly after the phone got boot up completely.

i helped him to do a clean flash for the stock rom and stock kernel.. but problem persist..

Well, I just lived with the random reboots, maybe twice or so a month (normally happens at night during charging so when I wake up, will see the SIM PIN lock) ... then if I remember correctly within 3 months, suddenly started freezing/hanging (tried to fix it during the weekend flashing all the versions of stock ROM - no joy). Freezes without 10 minutes of using any apps that uses WiFi (actually any app, but apps using WiFi freezes it fastest) Had to send it in for warranty. The motherboard got replaced to a new one without the insane chip.

That sim region lock thing is really Samsung's plan to prevent grey/parallel imports and does not work properly too. (It is the NOT the US sim carrier lock, that one is straightforward - after contract period over, can request the unlock to be done by the carrier)

I'm running stock 4.3, and my S3 can't seem to multi-task voice and data at the same time. My data will hang(in thethering mode), when a voice call comes in. Anyone facing the same issue? ANy advice?
