The archidroid that he mention is based on Omni rom. Has a very fancy and colorful aroma installer. But at the end of the day it's jz a Omni rom with extra list view animation. Feature that is also available in temasek and Slimkat.

Omni rom is the the most feature deprived custom rom. It's practical near pure aosp. Stock Google Nexus phone with xposed module have more feature than Omni rom. Most Omni fans are cm haters, angry at cm went corporate. So they support Omni.

Anyway, I doubt you will use any aosp rom. You are too used to touch wiz rom.

i am using boeffla, only because i want sharpness fix. did not change any kernel setting, using default clock speed and governator

performance just the same like normal. slimkat recent apps list appear and switch apps alot quicker than stock android one.

dont feel lag. but after play around with note3, feel my s3 have many minor lags at random moments. or lower animation frame rate. note3 is just faster in loading stuff and have consistently higher animation framerate
kindda when you drive a faster car, you suddenly feel your current car abit slower.

i dont like slimkat camera, dont let me press and hold the shutter to focus.
so i flash the camera fix from xda s3 themes and apps section. works perfectly for me since december. never had a cant connect to camera problem, and no focusing issue. image quality is great for me.

yes, stock battery impossible can get this battery life

go for custom rom kitkat la.

you wait for official touch wiz one from samsung, you might not get it also. even if you do get it, it will be obsolete already because the next version will be out.

I use temasek rom since December, only happen to me once.
Weird the phone app never deep sleep.

Another wake lock was caused by google plus app, it keep trying to sync auto backup even when I'm not connected to wifi. Weird.

Sometimes wake lock happen. It's easy to spot on 4.4 kitkat by looking at the batter history

No interest in temasek rom already, using slimkat now.
Consistent weekly updates. No need to check xda thread all the time

you should try the weekly instead.
stable version is old and doesnt include the new slim recent apps,

slim recent app is very fast. quick to appear and dismiss, smooth animation, and very fast app switching.
they deserve the best innovation award of the year.

not everyone might like or use pie and halo, but i'm sure everyone will love the new slim recent app list.

you go from temasek to slimkat to cm11,

you get less and less feature only.

i use zoogue case. no need mod. fit perfectly. nice grip too.

when use zmoove, cpu freq maintain very high, almost max all the time when using waze. phone become xtra hot.
also i get some random reboots. very dont like zzmoove.

i use pegasusQ zero problem at all. dont like to mess with kernel settings.
rather play safe.

one tiny bug i still face is notification led do not blink for whatsapp message that is delivered late due to network delay by either sender or receiver. again this is solved using xposed modue LED control.
never had non blinking led issue for whatsapp anymore.
using this xposed module is better than light manager app because it does not use any background service, hence no resources use and does not affect battery life. great

very satisfied with slimkat. great kitkat rom made even better with 3 xposed module

now use slimkat, dont plan to change already

wow, im expecting big improvement to battery life after this :-)

after call drain bug for aosp rom fixed.
symptom, after a phone call, standby battery use 1%/hour
without call, standby battery use 0.1%/hour

that's what many people say in xda, but i dont really feel the effect of this bug due to 3000mah battery.

what do you need gravity box for? dont cm already have many of the features gravity box has?
you might have some issues due to duplicate features

i dont like cm and omni because very few custom features.

why not u use temasek, carbon, or slimkat?
they have more features.

oh god......how come people dont get it one, how many times have this been said already.

to preserve it during nightlies, create a backup script for it. simple step by step guide to do so

the file you need to preserve after flashing the camera fix is located in
/system/lib/hw/camera.smdk4x12.so

so just add this line
"/lib/hw/camera.smdk4x12.so" into the backup script

and remember to set the correct permission. recommend to use ES file explorer for everything.

you will never EVER EVER need to restart camera ever again. no need for restart camera app also.

sweat la. you can change it back in advance setting i think. or use boeffla kernel setting app the change back the mdnie

turned on waze for 37 minutes.
it barely went higher than 1000MHz.
quite evenly distributed, spend more time at 800MHz
this is using pegasusQ, phone is moderately warm.


when i use zzmove, cpu stays very high, highest will be 1400 & 1300 and 1200Mhz, it spend more than half the time at these higher range,
phone feels extremely hot.

you flash v2 or v1? after i flash v2 my mic also become soft,
you need flash back v1.

but if you already on v2, you need to delete the backup script first, then only flash v1.
backup script located in /system/addon.d
