come to think of it,YES only during flash my phone hang/shutdown n YES i'm using 3rd party battery...well not actually 3rd party coz i bought original battery (2100mah) separately...

i dont understand whats the reason coz when comparing both battery (original n spare),the specs r the same, both NFC capable, both 2100mah,both made in korea, same volts etc...

maybe there is explanation about this that i dont know myself...

Hard to say... biggrin.gif
Just not sure if this also happen with the battery the came with the phone?
Did you bought the spare battery from trusted source/shop?
If it is a faked battery, then you can't trust the label anymore, it could be lower output than what it claimed.
If it is genuine battery, then why not bring both batteries to Samsung and complain? smile.gif

latest 5thjan nightlies fixed the problem. see if lastest temasek based on the 5thjan version. if you came from other rom try to clean cache, if you upgrade from nightles/termasek try to restore stock.

Hello guys, I'm planning to buy secondhand S3 next month. Any advise for me to check out for b4 agreed to buy? BTW, how's the stock android 4.3 ? Was it smoother ( or better should I say )than 4.1.2 version? How much free RAM got from the overall total? How's the battery consumption, more or less than the 4.1.2 ?

Any reply will be appreciated.

no camera problem.
the solution exist long ago. 1st november actually.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=46983209

those who complain camera problem are really lazy noobs who doesnt read.
temasek rom since v24 already dont have "cant connect to camera" issue.

temasek is without competition the best kitkat aosp rom right now.
i am using it since december till now with no issues.

omni too empty, cm slow, slimkat dreaming, aokp just woke up. all of them are lacking features that already exist since 4.3.
only temasek have all previous 4.3 features, i just use stock kernel with the rom since already problem free.

Thank you for sharing.

Small number of S3 user still having the problem. Such as below:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread...2505973&page=19

My co-worker for some reason the problem occur randomly.

Funny thing was, it only happen when she using 4.4.2 rom while no issue on 4.2.2 or 4.3.1
