Hello guys, I'm planning to buy secondhand S3 next month. Any advise for me to check out for b4 agreed to buy? BTW, how's the stock android 4.3 ? Was it smoother ( or better should I say )than 4.1.2 version? How much free RAM got from the overall total? How's the battery consumption, more or less than the 4.1.2 ?

Android 4.3 rom is depend on which rom type you want. AOSP rom 4.2.2-4.4.2 is less memory usage and smooth compare to Samsung 4.3 stock/custom rom.

But as far as I know lack of support such as HDMI and etc.

As for S3 battery, It is highly recommended to get extended battery from Samsung or good battery manufacturer.

hi guys i just flashed temasek unofficial cm11 build. i cant disable the back and menu key backlight. even after i disabled it it is still on. anybody experience it?

also i noticed there's no settings to add notification toggles. is there a way to add it? preferably not an app.

also is there a way to have the camera save to external?

notification toggles became obsolete since android 4.2 introduce quick settings.
i saw in temasek thread someone said omni added it back in yesterday nightly. so maybe temasek will include it.

camera i prefer to save to internel storage since internal write speed is faster.
which gapps you flash? i flash banks standard gapps, it has photosphere cam but no option to save to external.
i did flash the camera fix posted above, it gives me the 4.3 camera app without replacing the photosphere camera app.
so you have 2 camera app. the 4.3 one has option to save to external.

Can anyone recommend a reputable LYN seller that sells PowerBank?

yea flashed banks gapps. i also noticed that when i was on 4.3 my moto x camera app has ability to save to external. used tb to restore my apps now the camera cannot save to external. is it a kitkat limitation?

prefer to sace to external cos my external has more space and also force of habit because my mobo died once. so scared i lose them. ( yes i back up using dropbox too)
