there's also this guy:

and based on my experience with the iswara, yeah i'll believe him

I believe him also since 2004 and I owned an Iswara too.
My family commented that my Iswara engine condition and speed is excellent until this day.

Hi everyone,

I am going to buy a new car (1.6 auto).

Based on the sales guy, after 1000km I will need to service.

I heard few people say different opinion. So i decide to ask the experts here.

Should I drive fast on the 1st 1000km? Like 110km/h as much as possible, consistently on highway

or

Should I drive 90km/h and below?

Some said tekan oil hard hard once a while is good. Hmm?

I assume this concept works for all cars 1.6 engine.

Any tips? Thanks.

my alza owner manual said dont maintain in one speed for first 5000km's.. and keep below highway speeds to allow engine run in..

after engine warmed up then can just accelerate/redline as much as you want

it is better to let things break earlier and have it replace biggrin.gif
