1.23Gb patch. and the game a lot of changes. Chat colours changed. Game graphic macam got tweaked as well

Your CPU seems like quite good to gain benefit from Mantle.
Mantle will increase the performance on whom that stucked by CPU throttling.

You need to understand what are the conditions to get such performance gain.
The high % gains only happen when the CPU / APU is a bottleneck to the GPU.
The higher the GPU and the lower the CPU / APU, the margin will be greater.
