ACE 23 is just an AK ripoff la, should use AEK91 

AEK rules depends on map... most times nope, ACE much better as an overall shooter..

depends on your attachment used, and if you burst or auto fire.
one clip can still take out 3 ppl depending on situation of cos.

Me, sometime.. Either ACW-R (highest fire rate) or ACE 21 CQB (large magazine 36 bullet).. 
But after felt in LOVE with ACE 23, I stick with it. Alread killed 900+..

only once in awhile the guy doesnt die when i expect him to, most of the time its fine for me.
last night i also use ace23 for awhile, didnt feel much difference, but in end i go back to my fav aek.

So far OK for me. Tried last night have the same feeling like before the update.
Maybe you can try BURST fire motion, fire release fire, maintain you aim at the enemy. this way will help you.

Most of the time I played as ASSAULT or Aggressive RECON. 

Assault -> ACE 23 or ACW-R, med kit and defibrillator
RECON -> SRR 61 with 3.4x PRISMA scope, Spawn beacon n PLD
Really PIA to fight overstack SEAL team. My method for survive its used SMOKE the entire tunnel then park my LMG with FLIR and gunning..
