IDK bout your usage but since i have few graphic designer pals who have no issues with their rMBP 13" as well, i doubt you will face such issues.

can dont pay full to order meh? actually the problem is like this.. go mmu melaka buy.. but no stock in that outlet but they claim aeon still has one, so i can just pay full there and go aeon to collect. moments later they called me and said the aeon one got sold off while i was processing my payment .. hence i have to wait for the stock to arrive.. wadapaq

mac city.. already been more than 2 weeks and still no news about my standard config 256gb rmbp wtf!! not replying emails and only saying that stock will arrive in 1 or 2 weeks from date of purchase when i called and staright away put down the phone.

Hi I'm new here and planning to buy the MBP but since I keep seeing posts about updated and redesigned MBP I'm considering whether I should wait. But if the MBP is updated how about the price?
Will it stay the same?

intel wont be coming out with their broadwell that soon so i doubt there will be any new revision macbook pro coming out (if there is then it wouldnt have much or any performance boost)... but there's a high possibility for a retina macbook air

My rMBP's logic board died last Thursday and the warranty has expired since July 2013. Machines quoted me RM2250 for the repair. For something that costed me almost RM7k, i expected it to last at least 4 years but no It can't even make it to 2 years I'm so pissed with Apple I have lost respect for what I once considered a great company with great customer service.

Apple's QC has gone down these days, I have had defects on the iPhone 5s twice and three times for Macs. Best part was, bought the newly purchased Mac the day after to Machines Service Centre, said they will consult Apple Singapore for further follow-up regarding the QC on one of the Mac, until today no sound from them.

I am using MacBook Pro 2013 Top Spec.
i7 2.7ghz, 16gb ram, Flash 512, 15" retina. Dual graphic. Rm8699.00

But I wonder why Mbp 2014 top spec only i7 2.3ghz. .. And a bit cheaper..

Sales trick to make people think it's cheaper.
Top spec is 2.6GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 3.8GHz (Add RM700)

the one you have is early 2013, the current model is late 2013
early 2013 is still running on Ivy Bridge, current model is running on Haswell.
even though the clocking speed is lower, the processor still outruns the older generation processor
price drop happened on late 2013 model as apple reduced the price of Macs world wide

What about MacBook Air 1.4ghz i7? Will it be very much better than early version? I saw YouTube video, early version is very much better, faster for everything... Plan to sold my Mbp switch to MBA. Need to read watch video than hi end processing.
