Been using this baby for months, but today figured out about the "More space" function for the screen. Maxed it out to look like 1920 x 1200. Now....the laptop, looks AWESOME POSSUM! Don't know why but it just looks awesome now.

want by retina model but kinda pricey for me..and the store rep told me best get appc together with retina cuz if spoilt..repair cost damn $$. shld i just get non retina model

for peace of mind, always opt for extended warranty, acpp, doesnt matter what product u bought. most of the component on rMBP is not easily removable, i.e. either soldered directly or glued. hence the higher repair cost compared to non retina model. but rMBP have higher spec. still depends on ur own requirement.

my luck with apple product so far so good. all still functioning well beyond 3 years. just bought rMBP for my wife last month n she's loving it.

How do you feel about the 13inch

13" is just nice for me. lighter and the ppi count make it nicer to look at. plus the scaling option does cater for which display option u prefer.

for me, i like te extra space to work with and i dont mind smaller icon/display

nope, only the higher spec has a Nvidia dedicated graphic.
but all 2012 Model has GT650M

Been using MBP 15" late 2013 for past few weeks now. Just awesome! Totally into it.

just got myself MBP 15" late 2013..i tried not heavy games like PES2014 and FIFA14..during gameplay fan so noisy..is it normal? mine with GT750m..

as long as it switched to dedicated graphics, expect the fan to be running faster than usual

awesome for 13''. performance and display all look stunning.
i made a right choice as in the beginning I struggle either to take mba or rmbp.

just bought a 2nd hand rMBP 15" late 2013 early this month and i noticed that sometimes the notebook gets heated up despite running only 2 to 3 apps such as VLC, Chrome and Microsoft word. is it a common issue?

Anyone can recommend me some sleeve or casing for rMBP 13"?

most stores in klang valley i see only sell the speck casing. i wonder if it's good?

The used unit that I bought comes with this satin speck casing. To me it provides the feeling of robust and high grade materials being used to protect the laptop for long term usage.
However, I took it out 2 days ago because it's heavier and the temperature in the palm rest area becomes unbearable. (I read online it somehow contributes to warmer temperature)
