I will try go and audition the PB2000 soon. I just calculated the size of the subs, they seem to be perfect fit for front left and back right corner. I hear this is usually a good placement for dual subs correct?

So just to update room renovation is nearly done. Cables are all pulled, floor tiling has all been re-done change to SPC flooring.

I already lay the SPC flooring. Real wood, I did get quote using teak wood is way out of my budget. Also need to break all the tile, is a lot of work and very messy. Wife no allow. 
Yeah all conceal cable is running through conduit, I told them to use bigger conduit too so that the cable can be easy to pull out in the future.

Now I waiting shipment for the speaker, arrive next week I think. For receiver I also pre order the denon x3700h since 3600h no more release.

Only problem (for me) wirh the x3700 compared to x3600 is the lack of front hdmi port. Super useful while doing REW tests. Need to go for x4700 at minimum  to continue having that zzzz.

I putting big rug over it too anyway. So very little of the floor I can feel.

It work perfectly but the ARC for atmos surround sound not that good compare with player direct to avr

You are right in that these days it’s not hard to build a setup that beats a commercial cinema. I would say in Malaysia if anything MBO has the best commercial setup. They utilize Barco laser projectors (at least in the Starling PJ and their newest Tropicana Gardens Mall which is also where their HQ is). Not sure about speakers but depends on the hall I believe. I am actually going to rent out an entire hall at MBO after CMCO and will observe their setup at least for their basic hall.

mid range? i dont mind the price of EVO 4.2, as it will be the only speakers. will it be counter productive to get cheaper stereo amp? something in the range of 1-2k? so the 2.0 comes to 5k.

my speaker setup is jumbled.. lol. front is WAF-1 from Danny Ritchie, its a DIY speaker bought from some forumer here. Then my centre is a whooping X-CS centre speaker weight 33lbs which is so big that my 55inch TV can sit on it. This centre is a matching centre for X-LS encore. i am thinking of downsizing everything, but i wanna start with changing my centre because it is too big for my liking.

Or should i look for SVS prime series? monitor audio tends to sounds brighter maybe less matching with my WAF-1 which i tend to slowly by the front speaker because i need space on my TV console so i have to change my centre.. and i am thinking if i buy monitor audio series, maybe i can upgrade my front to monitor audio silver later when i have the budget, which should have better match with the bronze centre.
