You connect your PC (3080) to your A6A directly then only go to your OLED or PC (3080) to OLED then only use eARC back to you A6A? based on the feedback/review from Amazon customer, looks like there are still some ppl complaint that they cant get the signal properly even using the RuiPRO HDMI cable...

Huh? I don't use eARC at all other than the streaming apps on the TV (Netflix, AppleTV, Prime).

There is no reason to use eARC with a direct connection. Audio from the PC is sent to the receiver either via LPCM (or WASAPI) or bitstream if watching a movie with either Dolby or DTS encoded tracks.

Try to check out Acoustic System in Amcorp Mall. High chance you get better price than anywhere else on Yamaha product. Go look for Mr Lim.

Hi. Need the sifu’s help here. Really a newbie in terms of HT. once bought a sony 5.1 many years ago which i stopped using after having problem with the dvd player. Then all the speakers not used. Threw it away after collecting dusts for 5 years.

Now, Want to buy a new system. Would like to ask your opinion which of my planned configuration is best for me for hometheatre mainly. I also use for listening music and ps5

1. Denon AVR 3700H + Kef LS50 meta. Since this is pricey, planning to add on centre speaker later with sub if needed. From reviews, this speaker is good enuf. This is where i’m hoping u guys can help me.

2. Denon 3700H + Dali speakers. Either Oberon 3 + Dali Vokal centre + svs sub 1000 pro or dali oberon 5 + vokal centre

3. Denon 3700h + B&W 606 s3 + B&W centre speaker and svs 1000 pro

Basically, i’m not sure if i should choose KEF, Dali or B&W. Budget for speakers is 7k.

Any suggestion and recommendation is really appreciated. Tq

If primarily for home theatre, then look for speakers which also have a centre speaker in the family. Some suggestions will be the Dalis you have listed, Q Acoustics and SVS Prime or Ultra series.
KEF LS50 Meta and the B&W is more of a choice when your primary use is for music. They would need a better amp than an AVR to make them sing. I think it is important to have a good understanding of your use case in terms of music and HT. Also, how big is your space? The KEFs for example are smaller monitors that are more suited for small spaces. If big living room, should consider some bigger standmount speakers or floor standing ones. Whichever speakers you get, always best to also get a subwoofer as they make a big impact especially for HT.

My personal experience... go listen to each of the config you mentioned... probably can listen at those big dealers like Style Laser etc and decide for yourself. After all, as long you have auditioned them, pick the one you like the most!

There is no correct or wrong. Whichever you like is the best choice because you are buying for your listening, not others.

Even in recording studio, they adjust this equalize that to get the sound they think the best, but people but sound system that claimed to be the best reproduction of what in studio and purist would not even use equalizer.

your room is symmetry or not. that is a big factor
expensive stereo speaker can achieve center and surround effect with or without avr effect.
provided you perform denon audyssey calibration accordingly.

after calibrate, any speaker brand that you choosen, are going to perform alike, until their limits.

unless you insist to use direct mode (bypass calibration) then no point to choose avr liao
