this new altis 2017 comes with tint, what brand is the tint and how good is the heat rejection?

I think same as 2014 model, Ecotint.

IRR - Front 74% / Rear and side 48%
UVR - 99%

You getting new Altis? What spec?

Planning to get 1.8G will pay booking fee within this 2 days.

Very tempting indeed...not cheap this car.
How is its sound system quality in altis?
The cny promotion package now is quite interesting.

Too bad Malaysia didn't want to give two tone dashboards. The all black tone just lesser in term of contrast.

Welcome to the family

check underneath the dashboard, both passenger and driver sides have flimsy cover which will create noise when go over sharp bumps. i added padding to reduce the noise from occurring.
what is your transmission noise? is it like whistling sound?

Just get back from another SC recommended from UMW.
Now they say the noise came from transmission, suspect fuel regulator giving out the whistling sound.
They check no defect and could not do anything.
Last answer, this is normal for this model.

Great job UMW, you can't give solution and blame the design.
Does all car manufacturer does this?

sound quality is average. hard unpleasant bass especially the rear speakers. it's some unbranded speaker from Vietnam.

yeah, i complained about the brake pedal making clunking noise when press and release, then SC let me try other Altis to prove to me it's normal! i tell them some is not as bad. then they say yeah, will have some difference! then another service advisor said just like some Altis got whistling noise when aircond is switched on and some don't and it's normal!! wa lao eh, this Toyota also becoming another proton

Hmm? So the knocking sound over sharp bump is because thin cover?

Yea...whistling sound..."si si si".

Complain to Japan Toyota, and they redirect me back to UMW.
Even Japan Toyota lose hope on UMW now.

So far I see only one red new fl altis during cny. That's all.

True true...I also saw only few new FC Altis around Selangor.
Most of the streets flooded with new Honda Civic.

Yeap been doing lots of new civic...

For eg pedal lock , still have one set stuck at ny shop for a year plus 😂 not many people fixing pedal lock for this ride ?

And I notice more and more pre FL model on the roads......confuse..

Ya pre fl is alot recently, and I duno why.
