Structure for support? Never heard anyone mentioned before, got any pics?  notworthy.gif

iinm sedan cannot fold down the rear seats, the seats form a box structure at the back, while the aeroback doesn't have this but the seats can be fold down.

what are the risk of getting a flood damaged car when buying secondhand? how much does puspakom check discover?
*
you can't really tell off the bat and don't rely on puspakom, they are as reliable as a politician, do some findings on your own. open up the rubber door seals see any water marks, stain, mud, or rust at the lower parts of the car. take out the carpeting and see any mold, rust or stains where there shouldn't be on the floor.

Brand : Leaning towards jap brands for better RV (call me old fashion)
Budget : Around 100-120k
New/ Used : New
Transmission : Automatic
Type : Sedan
Remarks : A car which is reliable and not cause any real prob to fix.

No way around it....

Japanese brand and good RV only means Honda/Toyota.

C-segment sedan's for that price is possible so it is either the all new Altis or Civic 9th Gen.
Although the usual suspects aren't selling in large numbers probably due to the downturn in the economy and also competitors coming up with better products at a competitive price point like the new Skyactiv Mazda3 which isn't cheap but top notch build quality, technology and styling.....and new Nissan Sylphy which has upgraded looks which gives it a better premium feel interior but otherwise nothing much has changed it is a bang for your buck C-segment if you're looking for space, value and low cost of ownership.

Thanks zenix. Tested Altis 1.8, no real prob, if wanna be picky looks abit simple interior, the clock really "faint". Might test sylphy later today.

Price for alits 1.8e rm114k, lets assume rebate 3k, hence 111k price tag

Price for sylphy 1.8e rm115k, lets assume without tint+bodykit 3k, 112k price tag

Nissan does throw in better trade in value plus addition rebate tho...(currently have a sentra)

I guess i have to consider between better safety features on nissan compared to better RV on altis or i wait to have a feel on sylphy first.

Hi guys, i need some advise here
Plan to get a used car
considering
Lexus RX 350 Version L and Audi Q7 3.0
both are 2011, price range almost the same.
which one should i go for?
is audi hard to maintain?
currently a toyota owner so i guess the maintenance for lexus is almost the same as toyata (correct me if i am wrong) hehe

Maintenance cost for Lexus is high, same goes to Audi too. But Lexus is more reliable.

Hi,

Just want to ask for suggestion.

Current vehicle: Perdana V6
Reason to change: Car burnt up 6 days ago due to short circuit at the battery cry.gif

Budget: 20K (That is all I am getting from the insurance) Can't afford a brand new car at the moment
Brand: A toss up between a civic 1997 or a toyota (unsure which one to get)
Usage: Daily commute for work with a jamm or 2 thrown in
Transmission: Auto
Seaters: 5 seaters max
Maintenace: low - average
Fuel consumption: average
HP: not a concern...my racing days are over
cc: < 2000

I dont mind spending some money to fix the car up but within a reasonable budget (5K)
