First things first:
Soooo, am looking for next car to upgrade to in the middle of next year. Budget is roughly 40k before repairs and what not. I currently plan to buy an Inspira 2010(M), and add on a bodykit (if it comes without). I expect the selling price to be at +/-45K (Its 50k-55k now) by then. I ask now since I'm following the price and wana see if there is other models I should be looking at. Celica was mentioned to me some time back and am considering it. Just that cannot make a loan on it.

Can you guys give feedback on my choice and any other similar cars I should look at?

Am currently with a 97 Sentra 1.6(M) with overhauled engine and 15" Rims.

I'm upgrading from my old Iswara (Year 2000) 1.3 Manual. My criteria to get a used car (because new car depreciates too quickly) is

1. Auto/CVT transmission
2. Within 40k budget

I'm currently looking at two cars

1. Brand : Toyota Vios (2003-2007)
2. Budget : 30k
3. New/Used/Unreg : Used
4. Specs : Any
5. Transmission : Auto
6. NA or FI : FI
7. Type : 4 seater.

VS

1. Brand : Mazda 3 (2007)
2. Budget : 40k
3. New/Used/Unreg : Used
4. Specs : Any
5. Transmission : Auto
6. NA or FI : FI
7. Type : 4 seater.

A comparable Vios of 2007 is almost the same price of the Mazda 3. Whereas the older Vios 2003 sells at <30K. My question is it worth it to get the Mazda 3 2007 for 41 ~ 42K over the old 2003 Vios? With a difference of 10K in car price.

very cheap but make sure it is cheap because of depreciation not because market price 16k, repair cost for something 10k, so the owner decided to just sell it.
the gearbox is AMT type, not really smooth

how do they usually calculate trade ins? usually for those prices that they put in mudah.my, motortraders and all that.. we can still ask for a bargain right? whats the most you think I can get?

I saw ad on Mazda 3 2.0 sedan for rm84000 year 2012. Is a good buy? Any known problem that I am expected to face? Please advice.

Plan to buy a VW Polo Sport 1.2. But I still worried about the DQ200 problems. Salesman says everything had been fixed but I'm not sure true or not.
