thanks for the explanation!for the long run it is way better to opt for inverter?i'm planning to install 2x1.0hp n 1x2.0hp of ME. Any recommended models?

My non inverter Panasonic already used for 8 years and never give any noise.
But in Qatar, a Samsung compressor unit can give very high vibration and noise due to the fan are choked badly.
So, proper maintenance is still an important factor.

ME 2hp inverter not as good, indoor unit were used like 1hp blower size and does not have wide & long airfall, and don't have auto swing left & right way, but outdoor unit size you can imaging how big to compare others brand.

For me I would skip it 2hp and instead to 2.5hp at least won't be under power and used bigger blower size for indoor unit.

I would suggest you stick with ME 2hp non inverter deluxe model, last time my Aircon installer told me cooler than inverter 2hp.

MS-FG18
Cooling Capacity:
5.2kW/2HP

Main Features:
• Easy Clean
• Triple Plasma+
• i-see Sensor
• Nano-Platinum Filter
• 7&2 Years Warranty

Bro kimsim,

Need your advice on this;

My living + dinning area is 9.8ft (3m)(wide) x 25ft (7.5m)(length). Currently the ceiling height is 9ft but I will install flat plaster ceiling.

Based on pana online calculator, it recommend 1.5HP air con.

However, due to my unit are facing west, its very hot in the evening.

So, I plan to install one unit of 2.0HP air con instead, ME, model: MS-GH17VC (Non inverter type), From the catalogue, it say the required gas pipe size is 12.7mm, and I measure my current copper gas pipe size is 16mm (outer diameter), should be no problem with this model , right ?

Currently, the liquid & gas piping are pre-installed up to my living area. It's provided by the developer.

Kindly please advise me smile.gif TQTQ

For me I would choose for 1.5x 2 for living hall & dinning area, if got budget then go with 2.5hp x 1

From ME 2.5hp specs inverter more efficient than 1.5x 2

Cooling wise for sure is better
