I have a 2HP Panasonic, near to blower side is very cold, even I set 26'C.
But on the side, it won't be cool down fast.
A 2HP set at 26'C does not same as 1HP's 26'C.

Well, in some sense I don't want to cool that part, I need the hall to be distributed the cooling.
So proper planning before renovation will be important. If your living hall and dining hall are same, consider 2 units.

Best location : 1 in the porch wall and another at A.

The hose and cable can run on top of the ceiling, just need to plan. Without plaster ceiling actually better.

What? you buy your house but cannot hack the wall? What is the logic on this?

Usually electric shop can help you to order, place some money will do.

I don't know why people like to buy from those chain stores. Usually more expensive. Try those smaller shops. I in Seremban but you are in KL, so the transportation fees are quite high.
But then 2HP are more than enough for hall.

Under regulation wise, you should be upgrading to 3 phase. If this is new house and insurance won't cover when something bad happens.
Anyway, 2.5HP won't really save much, unless you turn it on for long period of time.
Before I get my 2HP, the shopper even advise me to get 2HP instead of 2.5. It is about rm500 cheaper and installtion fees also slightly cheaper.

Is their regulation, single phase only allow 2 1HP air cond, if follow the book.
Anyway, if all the high power consumption appliance are taking from main fuse box, then it won't have so much problem.

3 phase are still 240V.
And single main wire are rated to 100A at least. But you need to count got how many houses in a row. My house 1 row has 10 houses, so standard is 3-3-4. So each house are pulling about 30A peak.
But in actual, air cond won't pull 13A all the time.

You are right in some sense. 3 phase are more on load balancing. If run few air conds together for long period of time, then 3 phase wiring will be better.
Have to know that, when the wire are hotter, the efficiency will drop. But again, how low is low?
Even sometimes the 3 phase wireman only wire it using 1 phase and happen all the time.
For my double storey house, 1st floor are using its independent phase, so when ground floor's ELCB trips, 1st floor still got supply.

Usually it is red, yellow, blue phase.
but if it is incoming to the substation tripped, sure all the 3 phases will follow.
But if it is 1 of the phase in the substation trips, then the other 2 will continue to supply power. But so far it never happens.
If TNB willing to invest, whenever 1 of the 3 phases tripped, the other 2 will supply power to it. But such relay system won't be cheap.

Assuming it is in KV area the size will be something like 18-20"*60-75"? If yes, living hall using a 2HP will be more than enough, as you have fan also. Living are just for cooling down and not cold down.
For bedroom, master 1.5HP and others 1HP.
Type of bricks, ventilation are something you need to consider also, as they play major role on this. Use better paint will help also.
As for location of the compressor unit, I don't bother much on cosmetics, I bother much on the cost of maintenance and safety. So making a balcony on 1st and 2nd floor will be a good idea as the compressors can put there.
I always put the compressor as near to blower unit as possible. This can help to increase lost of cooling.
I have 1 1.5HP and 1 2HP, my monthly bill before working in overseas are about rm50-80 as I on for 2-4 hours only.
