yep, the entire housing of the switch is transparent.

I asked a chinese speaker and he said it was a slang word for those who have money but are uncultured. So they spend their money gold plating objects and making them uglier at the end.

I've got a problem with keycool ABS keycaps. It look like the legends are abit small for me (it is quite abit less than 1/4 of the keycap size) and to make things worse, the infill is fading/coming off abit.

Do the keycool PBT/POM replacement keycaps share the same font and size as the ABS version? From what I can see from the pictures, all 3 share the same font for the legends. Are the PBT/POM versions also laser infilled?

IMHO, if you look to get a keycap replacement, don't need to go for the same type of legend if you don't like it already.
and i'd recommend you to get pbt dyesub keycaps or doubleshot keycaps (abs or pbt, doesn't matter), the legend on the caps stays with it forever and ever or until the keycap gets destroyed.

The backlit leaked or reflected off the plate are more than the backlit passed through the keycaps' legend...

Ever since Iphone 5S come out, tuhaojin become a trend already. Making something gold in color to make it looks luxurious.

just swap a blank pbt and voila underglow

Same thought as my.

Either use thick completely non-translucent keycaps.

Or use jelly blank translucent keycaps.

The effect will be far better than what it currently is.

I haz sad coz i bought jelly pom.
it is not thick.
