Actually its fun to play with dof, once u got a f1.4 lens ,no point not to enjoy the dof hehe, only when u shoot group photo and stop down to f4

And fuji lens really sharp wide open

ya haha, this is my first time with an f/1.4 lens so I rarely stop it down unless the area is too bright and my ISO is quite low edi or for group photo.. group photo normally I use f/4-5.6 but depends la laugh.gif .. so fun to play with the DOF!! and I find myself thinking how to get nicer composition since I cannot zoom in and zoom out..it's really fun to shoot with a prime!

once you go prime, you wouldn't miss the zoom, at least to me.

tbh, its more interesting to shoot with primes laugh.gif ..I wish the f/1.2 lens was a little wider, like 45mm or 50mm..but I think I will definitely get the 56 for more portrait shots. 23mm is awesome but with a more tele prime (especially with such a large aperture), I can isolate the subject better..23mm + 56mm sounds awesome thumbup.gif
