Yes, normally possible to replace just the rear window section onlyDo note the rear window tint is the most tricky part for car tinting, as it has possibility to damage the heating element of the rear window when removing the tint |

what with this UV400 tint? So my question if both tint spec are like this, which one is better in heat rejection.
1. IRR95%, 99%UV, VLT 50%. 2. IRR95%. 100%UV (UV400), VLT 50%. Shop will sold this with those torch light + girl pictures when selling this |

QUOTE(ayamxxx @ Aug 9 2020, 06:10 PM) In fact it doesn't matter what car will need a good tint but it also depends on how deep is your pocket hahaWell as my suggestion, the car will need good tint if 1. Always traveling outstation/sales 2. Smaller engine CC because higher CC car the blower is stronger 3. More window as it allow more heat to go into cabin |

Different brand was using different measurement spec. A specially for IRR%, I believe some of shop didn’t tell you how this IRR% come? Which IR wavelength they measure? So IRR was always misleading if we didn’t look it carefully.Below video for the reference. https://youtu.be/ZfOMpDzXd18 Always test tinted film on the spot and compare them site by site. Refer to the spec given was not that accurate to tell the different. Bro, the industry grade IR/TSER measurement meter Was cost about RM15k! constant_weight liked this post

Not sure the 30% extra price will be paid for the tint or to cover the fancy showroom. Most of the branded tint mostly are overprice. Their cost is just fraction of selling price. However, alot of non branded tint are bad quality. We dont know which one is ok, and not ok. So opt for branded ones mostly the case to avoid future problem. |

QUOTE(WaCKy-Angel @ Feb 12 2020, 08:57 AM) Heat rejection quite good. Photochromatic only available for windscreen, im using it but still kinda weird how it works. Sometimes from outside cant see inside at all while sometimes still can see, during morning time. I guess it depends on the light position. QUOTE(widget @ Feb 12 2020, 11:14 AM) I'm using Hamel Royale on my CX-5 for 2 years already. Hi both, how is it so far for Hamel tint?Heat rejection is quite good although for my side and rear I'm using 30% VLT, which will fail JPJ test for the driver and front passenger side. For windscreen, I'm using the 70% VLT which is photochromic. The effect is not so obvious as the windscreen has already blocked some UV light already. I do have white Storm-trooper figurine on the dashboard ever since I tinted the ws with Hamel and the figurine still remains white and have not change to yellowish. |
