guys, can advice me on which tint should i go for my new myvi. hav a rm350 voucher for solar security tint at raytech given by my car sales agent.

You can go for CS60 with medium price, I'm using that right now smile.gif You can contact DaBestOne, honest and friendly guy. thumbup.gif

At first, found his contact in lowyat garage and wanted to tint the cheapest one which cost RM200. But I choose the CS60 which I can say their middle range, they selling low range, middle range and high range with 5-7 years warranty. So you can choose depends on your budget.

Completed the tint on my car, then the next day I found a bubble on driver window (Not to blame them but you know la, we are not perfect hehe). I informed it to DaBestOne and he asked me to go the Raytech shop, they replaced me with a new tint. Overall I'm satisfied with their services, recommended seller and I'm cool with Raytech brand hehe I found their logo also looks cool

I've done mine as well for today. Though i did not use the voucher as i needed to pay an extra of rm6xx for the solar security film. Chosen the cheaper option of just the solar control which provide 60% of block front screen and 50% for the sides.

Why you didn't use the voucher?

I am looking for a security and solar tint

As I been informed, not certified by JPJ but it compliance with our local authorities which is JPJ. It is in their warranty also, if you kena saman Raytech will settle for you.

You can contact DaBestOne or Lord Gitsy, btw I done my tint with DaBestOne thumbup.gif

Heat rejection quite good.

Photochromatic only available for windscreen, im using it but still kinda weird how it works.
Sometimes from outside cant see inside at all while sometimes still can see, during morning time. I guess it depends on the light position.

I'm using Hamel Royale on my CX-5 for 2 years already.
Heat rejection is quite good although for my side and rear I'm using 30% VLT, which will fail JPJ test for the driver and front passenger side.
For windscreen, I'm using the 70% VLT which is photochromic.
The effect is not so obvious as the windscreen has already blocked some UV light already.
I do have white Storm-trooper figurine on the dashboard ever since I tinted the ws with Hamel and the figurine still remains white and have not change to yellowish.

Hi both, how is it so far for Hamel tint?

I did tint my car at Hamel @ Kepong which recommended by dog999 @ Kent with customize package. Front IRR 97%, side and rear double tint with IRR 85%. 😎

Hey guys. Any recommendation for tinting and coating in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah for my coming soon X70?  biggrin.gif

1) Already surveyed Raytech but after reading some comments here, I was thinking of getting other brands. Other than that how is their Radium Q3 coating quality?

2) There is a shop providing LLumar and another shop called Tint-Shop providing V-Kool. But I havent seen their price list yet. Are these two better than Raytech and can provide better value for money?

3) Not sure if anyone selling 3M tint here. Couldnt find any info in google or fb.

4) There is another shop call Ceramic Pro GT i think providing coating service. Anyone has experience with them?

I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks guys  thumbup.gif

Go here: https://www.3m.com.my/3M/en_MY/automotive-w.../find-a-dealer/

and search for 88000 postcode, I saw there are 2 authorized 3M dealers.
