I'll be tinting my new car with Totalgard when I collect it next month.

Your testimony convinced me.

Same here, the tint is good and effective after 2+ years.

Just need to be assertive with the clerk Marn to ensure he allocate experience installer. Else multiple visits during work hours to redo.

and tinting to recceomend for a 14 year old Honda City 2009 ... just for heat ... budget RM300

Suggest increase budget to 500-600
Likely the cheaper tint will just bubble and peel off after a while.

Few years back on my smaller cars, till today ok

.
Toyota got provide tinted but only normal tinted and come with RFID on windscreen.
So means if i choose multi-layer sputtered, i have to tear off the RFID and buy a new 1 to stick on headlight or what.

2nd question, should i request the shop tear-off ALL the original tinted from Toyota (only remain rear windscreen tinted)?

*
Tint is inside the car, RFID is stuck outside the car, not affected by tint.

If really don't want Toyota tint, try ask SA to stop the installation as it is the last step before wash & delivery
