Yes its genuine.  Its just the performance is not as good.  Next time dont say directly to the owner... you're hurting them

For me best bang for money, cheap for the spec. Rm900 including sunroof for their top of the line tint, IRR 99%-100%, based on my car, it really work especially under noon time. Tried last time when parking at Legoland open car park, I can vouch the spec play good part, no scorching hot on my nappa leather seat.

Cons, saw some got workmanship issues but for me it covered under warranty. If anything, I will bark to the factory for warranty claim.

If based on their spec, the IRR and TSER are equivalent or better compared to the competition. They say it's because everything is manufactured locally etc

Just did a quick check, Totalgard films look impressive with IRR up to 100%! However I cannot find a film that has a VLT 70%... did you mix with other film?

got my recently bought car tinted installed by Totalgard again, last time was their ceramic plus series (Nano Ceramic inorganic)  and it performs well, (higher than expected), now opt for infusion pro (sputtering Nano Ceramic) to try out, which I believe will perform well as well. will try their highest option titanium plus (multi-layer sputter) if got another chance

1. Wondering if you guys can recommend some decent tint with fairly good heat rejection, budget about 600-ish, considering this is not a new car.
2. Is there a risk of spoiling the heating element when they tear off the old tint from the rear window?

Guys, let say my front glass pecah, and Im using 3M. My insurance cover for the windshield, but does the 3M will reinstall back the tinted ? Is that what the 5 years warranty for ?

So the front windscreen without any tint is already VLT 78%? That's something new to me. If that's the case, theoretically only a VLT 92% tint will work to get the VLT to 70%. In other words, any tint that is 91% or lower on your Kenari will cause the VLT to dip below 70% and thus fail the Puspakom or JPJ roadblock test.

it was mentioned RM2k fine or jail, so if they take it seriously this time I presume a lot of vehicles will not pass in a JPJ roadblock.

That's the reason I am asking if anyone here has experienced his/her vehicle being tested in a JPJ roadblock. I will surely not put any tint on the front windscreen if JPJ is going all out on the operasi.

Went to tint my new car at totalgard HQ last week, now rear got multiple tiny bubbles, front windshield got bubbles as well. Entire installation took almost 2 and a half hours. Avoid their HQ..
