what if i say, the cooling part doesnt go along?
the thinner your laptop, the more heat you get.

EDIT : Razer Blade is not available in Malaysia.

want to ask,
lenovo z510 - i5 4200m and msi gp60-2od-259my (i5 4200m)
which is better for gaming / movie watching,
also which is more easy to upgrade ssd/ram?
thanks.
*
gaming - both only spec with GT740M. But GT740M is really weak to push the pixels in FHD screen in GP60, it will probably crawl in lots of games unless you turn the details way down in native resolution. (gaming in non-native resolution has its own issues).

movie - screen on either model is not that good smile.gif

easier to upgrade ssd/ram - GP60.

I also saw it selling online and probably a lot cheaper smile.gif
The issue is always about warranty support. If you don't care, then by all means smile.gif

for engineering use, you should take advantage of quad cores, higher amount of RAM and a GPU as well. anyway, long lasting battery is very subjective. if you use the engineering software on battery mode, then it will drain faster than on battery mode + WiFi. the closest option for you (no long lasting battery) :

Lenovo
Y410p, i7-4700MQ + Nvidia GT755M(GDDR5)@RM2899, 4GB, 1TB, DOS, red backlit, 120w psu, swappable ODD, 2 years warranty

price is RSP and negotiable. use the remaining budget to extend RAM to 8GB and get a Windows 7.
