I prefer something lighter and not that thick because I need to bring it to school for presentation sometimes. So any other suggestions?

Sifus,

In terms of gaming performance, which laptop is better?

Lenovo Z510 (i7), MSI GP60-2OD (i7), , Asus N550LF (i5), Asus K551LB (i7)

In terms of games like Diablo 3, PS2 emulator, Far Cry 3, PES 2014.

Which laptop will sifu recommend and why? hmm.gif

For gaming performance, the one with the most powerful GPU performs the best, so all the ones above performs pretty much similarly nod.gif

the Lenovo Z510 and MSI GP60. both shares the same GPU and CPU. the key factor here is the CPU used; the Lenovo Z510 and MSI GP60 use quad core i7, while the N550LF and K551LB use dual core ULV i5 and i7 (respectively).

when it comes to battery life, the Lenovo Z510 and MSI GP60 are power hungry compared to the ULV i5 and i7 used in ASUS N550LF and K551LB, as the ULV CPU main function is to conserve battery life. FYI, some games are optimized to run quad core, so it will be a bottleneck to use a lower Hz and dual core CPU for gaming.

Those games that optimized quad core, the configuration is done in the in game settings right? Or is it if I'm playing the game with a quad core processor, then it'll auto optimized? hmm.gif
