HD resolution is okay la for anything smaller than 14" nod.gif
However, HD+ and especially FullHD should be more prevalent in larger notebooks now. Particular so when they manage to fit FullHD and 2560x1600 in something as small as a 10" tablet and selling it! laugh.gif

my gf have Asus UX31A... full hd 13"... the problem with 13" Full HD is that the windows is not yet optimized for it. We need to manually adjust the screen font and titles in order for it to be readable... browser size, photoshop.... all is weird... no matter how you adjust it, the size is still weird... in fact i think 1600x900 is better resolution if this problem is not fixed.

and till now i think the problem is not fixed... very annoying..

macs do not have this problem...

It does not mean that in any way.

Windows unfortunately scales the DPI to 125% out of the box when confronted with HD settings, I normally dial it back to 100% to make it sharper. Smaller? Definately, but looks nice enough.

Macs scaling is different. The text may still be 10pts in size but because there are more pixels images look sharper. Does not stop problems such as low quality images spoiling things however.

Of course full HD. Just dial the dpi setting back to 100%. May make everything small but at least it does eliminate the strange blurred size play and all.

Hi, sorry I know this might be another person's post to interrupt but can I know why is asus n56jr not included? Is it not recommended as I have been struggling between y510p and n56jr now after deciding not to buy a hybrid notebook tablet. Thank you.
