my gf have Asus UX31A... full hd 13"... the problem with 13" Full HD is that the windows is not yet optimized for it. We need to manually adjust the screen font and titles in order for it to be readable... browser size, photoshop.... all is weird... no matter how you adjust it, the size is still weird... in fact i think 1600x900 is better resolution if this problem is not fixed.

and till now i think the problem is not fixed... very annoying..

macs do not have this problem...

It does not mean that in any way.

Windows unfortunately scales the DPI to 125% out of the box when confronted with HD settings, I normally dial it back to 100% to make it sharper. Smaller? Definately, but looks nice enough.

Macs scaling is different. The text may still be 10pts in size but because there are more pixels images look sharper. Does not stop problems such as low quality images spoiling things however.

MSI? nice looking but overheats easily and throttling issue. thermal profile (GT750M version) also worse than Lenovo Y510P. i'd suggest you to take these :

Lenovo
Y510p, i7-4700MQ + Nvidia GT755M(GDDR5) + (1920x1080)@RM3399[2.7kg], 8GB, 1TB, W8.1, red backlit, swappable ODD, 120w psu, 2 yrs

prices are RRP and negotiable. for Illegear, you may contact Prince J.

Y510p = got below RM 3000 ?

Recommend for me also:

Brand: Any brand
Budget: RM 2500
Usage: Multi-tasking + little gaming + zero lag...
Feature: good cooling, heavy weight no problem for me...must have numpad at right-side
Screen: 15.6" screen

I simply don't know why people like to perpetuate the myth that ULT / ULV CPU is "poor processor".
I don't see any of your usage requirement can fully utilise that i5-4200U.

Go here and see if you can find any i5-4200M for your budget  rolleyes.gif
