You need to buy H7. H1 is for the high beam

Guys, need a piece of advice, change windscreen, should I do outside or bring back to Peugeot? Very unlucky, second time hit by stone..first time I just did the repair now exactly in front of the passenger view, so decided to replace it..
*
Getting very confused. What is dipped light? And the lights we always turn on when driving (i.e turn the stalk all the way down) is what light? Main light? H1? H7? OMG...... rclxub.gif

Thank you very much.

Dipped lamp (H7) is our low beam (lights we always turn on when driving) while main lamp (H1) is for the high beam.

Planning to get OSRAM Hyper Blue Intense which is 4200k. Has anyone use this model before? How is it?

Hello Guys,

I noticed for a few days already that my car is starting to jerk a little. When im driving it, and the cars shift up or down, it tends to jerk a little. Never notice this when i first got the car. This thing happen after i played with the manual mode couple of nights ago.

Also, do u feel your car engine vibrates when u leave it on idle??? When i start my engine, still in P or N, i can feel a certain vibration or beat from the engine. Quite hard to explain. Its like a heart beat, or put it more negatively, is like the vibration/sound when a engine is going to mati. Please advise all sifus....

Thank you very much.

Thank you very much mate. Will check it out on my car this weekend. Planning to change air filter.

Anybody knows what other air-filter brands can fit our car? And where to buy?

I tried looking at K&N website, but cant seem to purchase. Only show dealers location. And when i call some of the dealers, they say they dont carry shakehead.gif

Thank you very much.

just a bit of feedback on the drop in filters, from my experience using the k&n, it works for a few km. no denying it. the car will launch like a bullet (i'm exaggerating a bit here) but then, the car's ecu will pick up 'abnormal' airflow after those few fun kilometres and compensate to parameters earlier set by the car's engineers.

so, the performance will somewhat revert to normal. you probably need to 'fool' the ecu to allow for a higher air/fuel ratio to get more performance out of the new performance filter.

i tried it out in the 206 and 207 and if these old engines can suss out the increased airflow, the newer ecu would probably be able to do so as well. unless, the ecu tells the car otherwise. but then, it could encroach into warranty matters.

anyway, just my feedback and something to think about. always good to have someone try it out and report. just make sure it is not a placebo effect wink.gif
*
Anyone else has a second opinion on this??? Especially the warranty part.

The drop in just a plug & play item. Will it really void the warranty?? Shouldnt it make the car run smoother and better since im giving it a better breathing filter?? Actually i plan to buy a new drop in and keep the old one. So when time to go service i replace back the old one myself. Hahahahhahah.

Thank you very much.

Usually UHP tires not so lasting.. yours first batch of 408 comes with Conti Sports Contact right?
Brake pad no comment as most of time use back the ori one, cuz sometimes OEM ones might not suit our car n the perf will degrade.. sticking back to ori replacement safer..
*
Is Continental ContiMax Contact MC5 consider UHP?? Coz if it is, i have to drive carefully alr....Dont want it to botak so fast.... "-_-

Ic... so itz possible for the 2.0 NA to use the 1.6 Turbo springs ans absorber then?

Thanks. I'll check with the SC during the first inspection.
*
Not sure if can or not. But the suspension settings for NA and Turbo is definitely different. Turbo is harder. Plus if you use 18", your ride will be quite bumpy and a little bit more noisy. This is base on my personal experience and something for you to consider. Every bit of uneven road or small stones or small hole, you WILL FEEL it either from the steering or your butt. So now when i drive in road with bad condition, like kura-kura. Even kancil will tailgate me and overtake me. Hahahahahha. But when the road opens up................

my 2.0 doesn't float even at 200kph. beyond that, yes a little. but the steering assistance is too light for my liking.
*
I dont even dare go beyond 170km/h.....Yet.....

by the way guys....The other night, i was driving at above 170km/h.....Then i step on the breaks....It wasnt a jam break, but it was still pretty hard. As my car slowed down, my car actually wiggle left and right. Lucky it wasnt a big wiggle. Still manage to control it. Is this normal?????

definitely not normal

is that ABS kicking in or the car is swaying?
*
I do not know how does the ABS feel when it kicks in. There is no sound or vibration. When i hit the brakes at 170km/h, my car will sway to the left and right a little bit.

But when drive normally, the it doesnt happen. Only at high speed, and brake harder than normal....

Bro, really cannot, i tested few times already. All the other windows switch has the second level of press then the windows will wind down, but not the driver side.

Oh yes, the handbook. Thanks for the reminder...

Hi shackks,

I dont know if this help. I will try my best to explain. I have the same problem with you. But i fgured out it was the button's sensitivity. If you press the button all the way down until it clicks, it will be automatic. To do manualy, try pressisng the button hard enough, but not hard until it activites the auto down. It works for me.
