QUOTE(Eugene Ong @ Jan 17 2014, 03:55 AM) Thanks, but not a very pleasant start with my new car. The car was out on 24 Dec 2013 night time. But was broke down on 26 Dec 2013 evening at Mid Valley car park. It has been tow to Geotauto PJ 22 (Benny SA). At first sign suspect was a relay problem. But later find out it was fan more problem. At first they told me a joke, they said my car need to take 1 week to repair. But I said how can it be, don't you keep stock. They said no stock and need to order from Klang and might not have. I was quite mad, I tell them I order stuff from Penang took me just 1 day to arrive. At the counter, they ask me to call the HQ (Why can't they call?) Then I call, they revert me back they do have stock. I ask them when can the stock can be deliver to this SC, they said tomorrow. Then I have to leave my car there. After the day, they said the stock haven't arrive and since is Saturday, they will not able to make it and will be arrive on Monday. Then on Monday, I made a call again, requested the SC to make a call to check the stock again and make sure is on the Lorry. He just told me that the stock have been order and refuse to call. True enough the fan is not in the lorry, the SC just told me FORGOTTEN, need to wait until tomorrow for the first session of stock deliver (Usually they send good twice a days). Only the the fifth day I get back my car, the SC also dare not to see me. Just past to other colleague. Just a shame with their SC standard, the SA only reply me with CANNOT, ALREADY ORDER, FORGOTTEN. Sorry to her that mate. But how is the car now???The reason I wrote it down here is to share this Geotauto service standard, hopefully can alert people. If you claim warranty on part or require part to perform your car repair, you better call yourself. I Will never go back again. Hopefully these are the only problem and other SC will be better. Cheers Eugene Anybody knows which SC is good to go? Can recommend and give some feedback? Maybe include the staff's name? Thank you very much |

QUOTE(Eugene Ong @ Jan 19 2014, 11:52 AM) Hi mate, Thanks for your concern. So far the car still okey. Hopefully that the last incident. I couldn't say anything yet as the car still less then 1 month old and just reach 1,100 Km. The way u express yourself is as if you have no more feelings towards the car coz of the bad SC experience. LOL....But i agree that service is important and NASIM should greatly buck up on this matter (lets all to spam their fb page...LOL)Hopefully some old owner could have give me better confidence with the car. As far as I know and I could see is getting more Pug on the road and the SC is overwhelming and can't coupe the car in the market. What I hear from the authorized dealer, they have set double standard as to prioritized their own client. So far what I can see is true, since NAZA SC have fail. The only way they could do to maintain their client is by doing so. Seem like all the SC having war between each other especially between NAZA SC and authorized SC center. What I can feel here, conti car still new in the market. They should hire more specialize staff here to maintain the car quality here (I mean the technical guy or the guy who identified the problem). What I can see in europe, is not that bad after all. Sorry if I offended other PUG owner here. Is there nothing u could say about the car after a month of using it? Like the performance? Handling? Comfort? Would really like to know though. Thank you very much. |

QUOTE(Blackkattapoww @ Jan 21 2014, 12:22 AM) still deciding... Take your time mate. Dont get something you will regret. As for me, i took months to decide. At the end, i choose 408T Griffe. Reason being is really worth buying for the price. Conti car for less than RM130k. Its spacious so in future can also use for family car. Its powerful enough. Most powerful engine the the c-segment category. Reliability....Well i think this is all about luck la....Some ppl no problem some ppl got problem. Even buying higher end brands like bmw and audi and benz, also luck. Some ppl get bmw/audi/benz no probs, some kep on got probs.elantra - to bulky, hence already with Hyundai more than 10 years.. Cerato - same la this siblings..the 2.0 still not convince me..to many gadget..pening when that to much! Ford- decent presentation, good engine/GB respond..but so sayang..rear passenger so cramp! sayang2... mazdah 3 - out from budget.. coming Altis - not sure yet the space interior, but when look at Paul Tan blogs, they offered/specs still like what the always offered last time- the stering wheel look like Nintendo joystick...plus less features, just 'buy' the badge lah! Most important i think, get something that u enjoy driving la. Coz you will be in the car most of the time. Going to work, go out, jam..... Just my humble humble opinion. |

Hi Guys,
Just sharing. Im very excited. Loan has been approve. Now going through the registration of number. Hopefully can get my 408T Griffe next week before CNY. Looking forward to joining the Lion Pack....~~LOL Just to add on regarding the VW post. My brother has a Polo GTi and he is going to trade it in for another car. He also said that the car is no good. He said he can feel the gearbox is starting to get "rough". And he also complaint about VW's sc. So i guess there REALLY is a problem with all the 1.4 TSI or the 7-Speed DSG (Dry Box). Thank you. |

QUOTE(jenova @ Jan 23 2014, 02:09 PM) Guys, i'm thinking to buy Ford Focus or Peugeot 408, can you guys give me some advise or ideas? Sounds alot like the problem i had. LOL. FoFo was also my consideration. In the end, pick 408T coz:I love both actually.... which one is easier to get spare part, cheaper spare part price, FC? thx much ~~ - Spacious (important for long term) - More comfortable than Fofo. Both back and front seats. - Simple and minimal interior. I like that. Not so complicated looking like the Fofo - Adequate power - Maintenance.....I think more or less the same la.... - Full leather seats. Fofo is semi leather.... |

QUOTE(jenova @ Jan 23 2014, 05:29 PM) I previously drove a vios. Full tank RON95 about RM80. I average about 400km-420km. 1 week pump once. So to me, is not much difference. Extra RM20 but is a bigger and more powerful car, so ok la. But i can only say this much coz my 408T hasnt arrive yet. But this kind of figures provided by the members are ok to me. Thats why i made the decision.I bet if you drive conservatively, like dont rev it above 2500rpm and just keep to slower speeds, u can get maybe get 500km....... Hybrid perhaps if FC is ur consideration??? |

QUOTE(Pugbunny @ Jan 24 2014, 04:31 PM) For PIAA, can check it out at ENEOS 1U. Last time I checked, they have a limited range of OSRAM/Philips. Now i'm not sure whether they have re-stocked. But the price could be a little more expensive than buying from the net. Any other recommended place besides ENEOS 1U???Thank you very much. |
