Yup,that's the one. Understand you gonna give it Barium Nitrate treatment. In theory that should improve cooling efficiency. Give us your feedback!

Ok. Thanks for the confirmation SKYjack.

Yes. I plan to do Boron Nitride coating. But in a dillema now. The place that used to do it no longer does it. Im referring to KL AUTO. They use a brand called TSD Baron Nitride. Im able to find the supplier but i can only purchase the spray from them. They dont provide the spraying service.

I found another place call After12Motorsport. They do the coating service. But they dont use this brand call TSD. They import a big barrel from US and spray it.

My dillema is:

1) After12Motorsport says it really does improve performance. But the coat will peel off. Not easily but still will if u use high presure water spray on it. So sending it to car wash might be a problem. I always send to car wash. But the TSD brand claim it will not peel off.

2) After12Motorsport says i can either spray the parts as it is with out removing it, or the can take the parts out for me and coat. Im worried about removing the radiator and intercooler. They mentioned is better to remove as they can coat it thoroughly. Worried they dont know how to remove and install back the parts properly and also, SC might know i remove the parts.

3) If peeling does happen, i worry it will be bad coz the coating flakes may go inside my engine.

Any opinions from the sifus here??

Thank you

I don't have any experience with this product,so can't comment on how good it is or durability. I know the product is an excellent thermal conductor. If it flakes off,I doubt it will cause any problems. No chance of getting into the engine, will fall off due to wind pressure.

However, for a complete job,the inter cooler has to be removed. Removing intercooler is not complicated. On my old Bimer E46, I had changed a radiator by a workshop previously,no problems. Intercooler removal involves about the same job. These performance workshops are well experienced for the job.

For sure SC will know cos impossible to do complete job without removal.

Bro is your center wearing off faster? If it is, then a probable cause is over pressure!

When i got the car, i was told by the sales rep that the pressure was 34psi but the manual says otherwise - 36psi! So which is the correct one? smile.gif

Both 34 and 36 are ok. To be correct, tyre pressure depends on load you carry. Check the sticker at the driver side door hinge.

sticker says 36psi. SR did mention that at 36psi, the ride's bumpier. biggrin.gif

Higher pressure does make a more bumpy ride. 34psi makes a small difference.

Am wondering if any of you notice any change to your lion's performance if you pump v power 97 or v power racing?

Perfect. I've been on 34 - 35psi,since I got the car. Still on 1st set tyres,done 27Kkm. Roughly 35-40% thread left.

oops... re-checked the sticker this morning & it said, for heavy load, it's 25psi front & 30psi rear tyres... now i'm confused! icon_question.gif

It's 2.5/3.6 bar, not psi! Petrol station air pumps will have conversion table.

I actually got a shock after reading your reply. 25psi for this car is really low, which will lead to accelerated wear on inner and outer circle of tire thread.
