oops... re-checked the sticker this morning & it said, for heavy load, it's 25psi front & 30psi rear tyres... now i'm confused!  icon_question.gif

I always use the full load figures to pump. But i cut back abit. Im doing about 37-38 psi for both front and back.

It's 2.5/3.6 bar, not psi! Petrol station air pumps will have conversion table.

I actually got a shock after reading your reply. 25psi for this car is really low, which will lead to accelerated wear on inner and outer circle of tire thread.
*
oops again! blush.gif these old eyes need a re-look! cry.gif

yes, it's 2.5 & 3.0 bars, or 36.2594344 & 43.5113213 psi...

which brings the question of pumping at 37psi (front) & 44psi (rear)... hmm.gif

i'd advice not

too low profile will be bad for comfort.

225/40 has 90mm thickness. 225/45 has 100mm.

90mm? that's not even 4"

Just a quick feedback on Toyo T1R..
The road noise is much more better than stock MC5. Handling wise dont know yet, as no chance to test.
However, my friend who also just change T1R comments, PS3 still better handling.

If u looking for more comfort tyre over performance, u can try Mich Primacy 3 ST. Tunes in between comfort and performance, price cheaper than PS3.
Am using this on my family Honda Odyssey, quite not bad.

Few months ago, P.308 club got group purchase for EBC brake pad, front and rear price around Rm900.
I think few months later they will have another round of group purchase, think i will join them.

Hi guys, my car almost 1.5 years old. done 35km.

I'm also looking for a more comfortable ride. We can put 215/50/17 tyres right? Anyway recently when i press brake, sometimes got the yi yi sound. but when i go check with the tyre shop, everything is ok. brake pads ok. i wonder what is wrong.

IF got group purchase for brake pads, i would love to join too smile.gif

I suspect the problem is with your brake caliper. It's not serious, you might want to check it out with a workshop outside. Spraying WD40 on the calipers helps, but may be temporary.

Sometimes SC too lazy to solve problems if not serious!

Will it be dangerous spraying WD40 near to the brake pads? Afraid it will penetrate to the brake pads or the dics..
