Bro, next time just use a sprayer la...... tongue.gif

Honestly, sorry to say but I'm really not that impressed (with the product la...not you ah....).....let see if I can come up with some comparison/tests...
*
i purposely gotten a sprayer loaded with distilled water to mist my rupes/lc/b&S pads tongue.gif
but it seems like it won't simulate RL situation (eg: a spill) well since it's just fine mists... so yea cup it is LOL!

got watch until the arm rest there? the middle part of the seat seems to be very absorbant and the product doesn't really work all that good with it. the sides/head rest/arm rest (center console) are the ones that work best.

seems like picky on surface issue i guess? (as in it requires cross woven fabric or something, like those convertible soft tops)

ya.. i could agree with you for their gold class wax, that wax create deep gloss shine but cannot withstand harsh weather. Maybe more suitable for garage queen.
But i am not sure about their ultimate paste/liquid wax as i heard a lot of good feedback regarding improved durability compared to gold class
*
i'm on megs ultimate liquid wax topped with sonax brilliant shine detailer...

since january till now still beads/sheets biggrin.gif (refer my previous picture taken last 1-2 weeks ago or so.)

Thanks for the feedback
I am happy with anything last more than 3 months with weekly wash in our weather.

Have you tried permanon diamond b4?

I like synthetic wax(sealant) more than the carnauba as generally carnauba wax lack in terms of durability. Even half day heavy downpour can wipe my newly applied gold class down to drain..
*
welcome.

nope never try permanon

Quite frankly, "new car" doesn't always mean "fresh paint", it's not recommended to wax over fresh paint before it cures, but, for most new cars, it's been sitting for a while and would usually had cured when delivered to the customer.
*
yeah, like my "new car" i gotten at december 2013, it's been around sine August 2012 laugh.gif

frm what i have read, they marketed it as "semi-permanent coating" but i have seen some ppl use it as a quickie on top of their permanent coating eg opti coat
*
if i have to nitpick, i'd scream BS on just the "semi permanent" claim.

it's either permanent, or not permanent, wth is semi permanent doh.gif

Hi, I am the selected representative for 22PLE in Malaysia.
I will PM you for details.

Also, avoid Taobao or the so called China version of 22PLE, they are fakes.

QUOTE(roxx @ May 15 2014, 07:26 PM)
Hi all sifu's.. Need your kind advise.. Been a silent reader for the past 2 days..  notworthy.gif

I have a car that has not been wax or polish throughout a year and another car that has not done anything for 10 years.. Therefore, water spots etched into the paint and swirl mark / scratches can be seen anywhere..

So i clay to remove the water spots but failed. So I bought Ultimate Compound in order to remove these 3 things..

Thus, is there any tips that I need to know before using UC? This is my first time detailing my car and i've read in meg online that 1 guy has messed up his car paint..  sweat.gif

Couldn't find any NXT 2.0 tech wax in Ace, can I use Gold Class premium quik wax for finishing?

Thanks in advance..  thumbup.gif
*
if you're using hand sponge, it's almost impossible to mess things up unless you use excessive force (which you shouldn't when it comes to detailing)

for gold class quik wax, i assume it's spray? carnauba based and then spray wax, it's not gonna last long i'd reckon. will need further comments from users who used it, i personally have not.

can consider going for ultimate paste/liquid waxes for a start, that one really last especially if you have a car that sits indoors mainly rolleyes.gif

Thanks.. Yes using hand.. No budget to buy DA..  doh.gif

Yes.. Spray type.. regret to buy that actually but no choice don't want to throw away.. beside UW, any other brands that suit best with UC for finishing? And does it best to finish with paste type wax?
*
compound is compounding, waxing is waxing, both are not really related so any brand/preference will do.

paste type wax *traditionally typically* last longer, and you would have less waste especially if you wax by hand compared to liquid which tends to get soak into the sponge.
