Has anyone here actually withdrawn/liquidate their BTC into USD?

I have a few coins I want to transfer out but afraid of unreliable third parties and scammers.
Paypal on the other charges like 7% transaction fee and min 500USD yawn.gif

Was thinking of international wired transfer.

Some member here mentioned about using bitstamp with international wired transfer. But I never tried so I don't know yet.

Yup countless time over the years.

It all depends on the end goal you want. USD in Paypal? RM? Merchandise?

For Merchandise. Easiest way it to buy Amazon Gift cards from https://cryptothrift.com/ then buy your Merchandise from Amazon.

For Paypal. use https://www.coingator.com/ but the rate sux and the site is sometimes down.

For RM.
1. You can sell your BTC at https://localbitcoins.com/. if you are in need of the $$ then just sell to any seller. If you can wait, then just make a sell order/Advert and wait for buyer to buy from you.

2. You can use okpay. Just create an account and deposit your btc there. then you can use one of their ex-changers to convert to RM.

Yes they do accept. But we cant topup our debit card using btc anymore, which defeats the purpose on why we applied in the 1st place sad.gif

QUOTE
ATTENTION:
Due to the card issuer bank restrictions it is prohibited to pay for the OKPAY Card order and top-up by using the funds received from crypto-currency deposit or exchange.

oic. I was referring to convert BTC->okpayUSD->RM that method should still work.

If you want to use their debit card. You can always make another account then BTC->okpay(A)->okpay(B)->okpay(A)->Topup. they will makan the fees for the transfers but the funds will not be direct from BTC. but from another party's account. this loophole should work.

by converting from okpayUSD to RM means that u ask OKPay to wire transfer to MY bank account ?

something like that. You use one of their Authorized exchangers. like https://www.exchanger.my/

the process may take a few hours depending of fund availability but definitely faster than international wire transfer
