that time wanna buy 280x, but all shop in KK no stock, have to settle for hd7870. I got it cheap at rm650 only, brand new old stock haha. If 270X that time cheapest is rm899. Kinda feeling regret didn't plunge for the Asus 290, but that is with reference cooler so kinda turn me down that time. Also I'm using m-ATX casing, that time I thought can't fit the 290 inside (rupanya can, silverstone made really nice casing btw)

Thinking wanna sell my 7870 and upgrade to r9 290, can play game all at max settings

what is your 7870 hashrate? 650 is quite reasonable if hashrate is good.

saw in kl got some stock even though its older card.. 7950 totally sold out..


270 (no x) is pretty decent price.. 700 or lower.

I got my HD7870 hashing at 400kh/s, undervolted it from 1.2v to 1.05v. Running at cool 66C even on trapped small room without ventilation. 934 core 1250 memory.

protips.. buy one more 7870...at rm650 lor

then you hash like a bos..400x2 same as 290 but not as much heat and still cheaper too..

My mobo is m-ATX, final PCIE slot used by wifi PCIE card. I dunno if USD wifi is reliable or not, have bad experiences with them. I can add another card if I buy TS's riser and put usb wifi.

Also, I dunno if I can pair the normal R9 270 with the 7870 or not, that 7870 was last stock in the whole shopping complex heh.

your m atx got PCI-E 1x or not? buy the ts riser and hook it to your other GPU.
depend on software.. TS mention need to open 2 instances for cgminer if you using 2 different model cards.

i saw like three brand new 7870 in kl.. like last week.. the box graphics looks dated (2013 design ma..)

Got but occupied by PCIE wifi card.

At first I bought the desktop just for gaming only (made my choice not to go with PS4). Now addicted with mining zzzzzz
Can't decide, feel like want to sell my desktop and buy a triple crossfire 280X lol. Padahal my desktop now only 1 month old. But people in labuan so kiamsap, hard to sell a proper gaming PC, for them a computer with HD5450 is "GAMING PC" already lol

kasi buang and use usb wan lor.. now got 2 antenna dem stable and good reception.. one day mining with 2 gpu can get back your pcie card cost liao..
