Prior to SDS. There is a few signs.

1) I just notice my phone more laggy den usual, i tot its laggy cause more apps and data installed (3 weeks).
2) One day i notice my phone is bit hot. (Heat when you play high graphic game like RR3), I wasnt running any app in background.. end process but still same so i restart den it was fine (1 day).
3) A day before SDS, the phone shut down itself. I plug into power plug and switch on again. Work like charm.
4) SDS day, after work.. while doing gym, i check whatsapp a little in between session and next thing i knew. Its DEAD!
5) Took to Samsung service centre which is a stone throw away. Confirm SDS. Need motherboard replacement.
6) Yes if not mistaken it was on custom rom 4.1.1.
7) Phone is well taken care. No power bank charging and no charging while using. Sometimes i even off phone or switch to airplane mode for charging. No water damage. Dropped 2-3 times with rubber case but low impact (last was 6 months ago)

Bad luck:( Any one else can share their experience?

Personally got hit after about 8 months with my S3. Even WITH the fixes.

Hence I went and installed brickbug check THE MOMENT I opened the N2 box at the shop lol. Thankfully it passed with flying colours.

Is already 24 hours since I updated to 4.3 direct from phone download. Go keyboard stop responding few times until I reboot. So far so good, battery life is better too.

No factory reset at all

All the sifus said about how we should just factory reset after 4.3; for me it's true. It works. (Official 4.3 here)

Perhaps nothing to explain on paper but after backing up all the data & did factory reset & restore the backup, everything works better even the battery life.

I think it's not placebo, just try it, nothing to lose.

Point number 2, 3, 4 is exactly the same as my work phone (S3 non-LTE) was experiencing before motherboard death.

Costed $232 for a motherboard replacement. Android 4.0.4 era

I just did one reboot and everything is working fine. Preferred not to factory reset to maintain all my whatsapp group chat

i taught this 4.3 will be solve my issue (not registered on the network/lost IMEI), but not.. cry.gif

N7100XXUEML3_N7100OLBEML1_XME --> not solve
N7100XXDMF2_N7100OLBDMD2_XME --> not registered on the network/lost IMEI
N7100XXDMC3_N7100OLBDMD1_XME --> No issue (Original IMEI)

Anyone have the same problem as me?

Up to u . Personally , battery life on 4.3 was never as good as 4.1.2 but then again joytest got a good battery life on a custom rom . For me , I used to get 2-3% over night with wifi + everything sync over 8-9 hours . On 4.3 , it's more like 1% drop per hour
