My friend 's note 2 4.1.1 freeze a few times recently. Emmc shows insane chip... 4.1.2 fix this bug rite? So will update from 4.1.1 to 4.3 'fix' this too? Thx for reply.

that's 4.1.1 issue, 4.1.1 alsow ill cause SDS,.. better update to 4.1.2 ( if u dont want the knox ) or update to 4.3 ML3 official stock ( if u dont mind the knox )

i personally dont want the knox,.. until developer also to crack and reset it, then probably i will try the official 4.3 ML3,.

current there is knox free version of ML3 4.3 in XDA forum,..

battery life wise is also depends on how you use,.. quite similar to 4.1.2 and a bit heavy,..

there is few changes in ML3 4.3 , and i like the new MK1 modem for sure, improve signal and performances in my note 2 H+ Data

He dint root his phone, it is possible to update to 4.1.2 offical stock OTA? (since 4.3 has released)

just download the official 4.1.2 stock rom and use Odin to update it,..

my battery is better , after 2 full charge. normally go to work back already 30,

now 40+% in 2 days same period , i got company mail + fb +whatsapp +insta +twitter signed in never logout. same usage lah.. whatsapp tok kok in group during lunchie, and every hour punch card @ gf.. hahaha..

cons: since 4.3 need kies3,downloaded kies3.. now cant backup the farking phone. backup and it stayed 0% until now.. select contact only.. OSO 0%...

To flash in recovery? Philz ( which version? ).Is this pre rooted rom? Thx bro...

i use philz 5.15 to flash

then after finish flash, dont reboot first

direct use dr.ketan multi tool V6 to root it,..

then update superSU direct in playstore after bootup,..

Agreed about the MK1 modem being better. Battery life and reception are slightly improved and the connection is a bit more stable, getting much less sudden drops into 3G from H+ (and the accompanying freeze in data download) that I used to get with the previous 4.3 modems.

After all, using a modem that's official for your locale is always best.

yeah, huges improvement on our note 2 Data,.. the H+ is much more consistent and use less power compare to older modem,.

just only these 2 days celcom line and Data is totally death in my area, believe is celcom northern region issue,.

I'm back to Pheonix Rom 15.7 with Devil Kernel 2.0.4 and flashed Modem N7100XXUEMK1

phoenix rom have upgrade tomorrow,.

Please ask your friend to upgrade to 4.1.2 or 4.3 asap.
4.1.1 will cause SDS.
My gf kena already. Have to change the whole motherboard which costs a bomb.

for me, it is a stable rom but I can't feel any different from 4.1.2..open apps, close apps, switch apps the speed still same...I don't feel any excitement at all...
