Exactly 1 week after warranty period (12 months) ends. So have to bear the repair costs herself which was RM550!

this rom is quite cool

Suspected wakelock caused by EZ Weather on demanding location position (anyone knows how to solve this or knows any other apps that causes such wakelocks?)

I faced the same problem with EZ weather on my note 2. Now using UCCW but still facing high number of wakelocks.
I have yet to find a functional and aesthetically pleasing weather widget...

Another reason for me to jump to iPhone 5s

if my phone was orginally imported (ap) from europe and then i flash malaysian stock rom from sammobile. Will have problems with the CSC or such? Is that why i cant OTA or Kies cant support my firmware?

Wakelocks aside (since such arcane things are conveniently curated away from the user by fruitco), I don't see any real benefit of an idevice over an Android today.

At worst you're getting the same SOT from 5s vs. uour wakelocked Android.

My iPhone 4's SOT is on par with my Note 2 when both of them are on Airplane mode, lowest brightness and only on WiFi

Only when you're using 3G and having the screen's brightness turned up; when both scenarios meets then you'll get a 2 hour vs 5 hour SOT

Well, for one thing you get more games. There's STILL no sign of KOTOR or that Mechwarrior strategy game for Android even after all these months. For another, you get to stop having to worry about rogue background processes... somewhat. I know WhatsApp (among other apps) still sucks the life away on iOS anyway, so that's that.

And as for the wakelock, why bother with a different app (and it's rogue calls to the location service) to tell you about the weather when the ever useful GNow widget does that anyway. You'll have to live with the occasional traffic card blocking your weather but no real biggie.

But yeah, horses for courses - what works for me might not fly as well with others rite? Which is after all the main pro of Android to begin with: you have a choice.

I still remember my old S2. Even with the thicker ori battery and most of the background processes all frozen, it could barely go through half a day at most before needing a battery change lol. Those were the days.

LOL looks weird on a Samsung phone.

No Note 3 features in official 4.3. You need custom stuff for that.

Check out the floating Samsung keyboard if you haven't already (long tap the key beside Sym on the Sammy keyboard and choose the overlapping keyboard option). For me that alone made the upgrade worth it already.
