true story..front-desk girl from Service Centre told me..including my XZL, also got problem when I wanted to flash new firmware..need to wait almost 2 months top get it fixed sweat.gif

Guys..is it ok to buy a XZL 2nd hand unit? as some of u said ZL already stop selling/production. I just scared if the phone bootloader been unlocked already as the BE will be gone forever. How to know?

check through the BE2 and trackid?!.. and stock rom without root.. then go service menu check the bootloader status as well..

Hey Adnan,

You can change the flaps at Sony Service Centre. It is located besides Times Square building. It normally operates during office hour but some of forumers here told us it extended its service hour on Saturday. I wish you good luck with your quest.

Guys, did any one here claim xperia z for motherboard dead? Did SC give new replacement set ? If yes , what documents they give to u?

If you lucky then you can get new replacement set.

If no lucky then they will tell you they will repair for you and you have to wait.

Documents you can ask them the service report and they will give you. Inside the service report got all the things stated that you need.

One of my Ex Office Staff managed to get new replacement set due motherboard and battery problem. They never give anything any document to him but they did cancel the Old Imei No in Warranty Card, wrote new set Imei no and endorsed with Ixsun Chop. They said to him that this already valid enough to claim further as warranty period still in force and he can give bring in for warranty if there is any issue on the set in future. hmm.gif

Good Price for Quad Core S4 Snapdragon Chipset ..

I heard from my fren who is having Mobile Shop in Shah Alam that no more Black ZL available, only White ZL will available in two weeks time. And the Price about RM1280 - RM1320, this price is given by the Thorus Agent who supplies the ZL to him.

It might due to fact is ZL is Non Lte Device and most ppl are eager to adopt XZ for its LTE capability, this is my opinion..
