Still torn between Z and ZL. What else should I look other than the difference on the first page? What is irda remote and pressure sensor anyway? So far, I'm more to Z... Waterproof sound awesome.

Anyone ever compare real life situation for battery life, Z vs S4? S4 really disappointed me.

What's the con? Well, my phone recently damaged by water. And I traveling by boat a lot. Seems a good feature for me. But ironically, my note 2 gets splashed by my shower bath in bath room. It's mean I can take care of my phone while traveling but not at home.

the con, in a way is if you don't have the charging dock, you will have to open close the flap for charging.
also the sound quality is a bit low, due to the waterproofing of the phone.
i can only think this much so far, but i hope you understand the cons.
if you travel by boat a lot, i then Z is suitable for you.

Sound not important to me because I headphone guy. Now I wish my Note 2 speaker is damaged instead of cam. But the flap is durable or not? Because if it's not durable, better take ZL, plus ZL are way cheaper....

IRDA is Infra red sensor and this sensor can controll you house TV for example. Its makes your phone act as a remote control.

Buy Xperia Z better in terms of battery. The reason why S4 battery performance not there because the phone pack with huge hardware that produce great performance that eats up battery alot. Etc :- Processor and Graphic.

If S4 battery were 3000 Mah then its acceptable.

Xperia Z Performance , Graphic and Battery all are stable. With battery stamina will increase the battery performance by 20 to 35 %

For the first post my answer to you is if you were traveling alot i recommend you get Xperia ZL because its durable abit. Xperia Z front and back is made of glass and if you dropped it by accidentally and if it`s break then the cost of repair is a bomb. For water splash aiyo please go in to the bath room take the shower then come out and only play your phone. Why should you bring the phone into the bathroom ? ( Doing multi million dollar business issit ? )

Second post answer :- If you know how to take care for the Xperia Z flaps then the flaps will not spoil even how many times you open and close it.

Talking about flaps makes me remember my HTC Butterfly the charging port there got flaps and last time i see many people complain in LYN Forum thread because the broke their flaps

Gently open and close the flaps then i am sure it will be ok because mine till now also good intact with the phone.

Incase of the flaps really spoil then the cost of changing a flaps is RM 30 to 40 in Sony Center at Plaza Berjaya.

Well, it's a habit of bringing my phone while answer nature call for playing game, reading etc. Why need a newspaper when your phone have news inside. So I put my phone at that particular spot I always put my phone. And , such a coincident our house water pressure suddenly too high that night, the water seems to splash out from the shower head and reach that particular spot that I put my phone. And that broken flap sound like a deal breaker for me. Maybe that's why people many let go their Z now.

And the weird thing is, that evening I just plan to get a cheap phone for my 2nd number since Note considered as my best phone and high end. Now the camera damage, Note 2 automatically dropped to basic phone to me. I snap photo a lot since that's my hobby. Repairing the cam cost about RM 600-700 according to Note 2 thread.

My current plan is get Z or ZL, spend some of the money for my Note 2, or get Z1 and live with Note 2 damaged cam and repair Note 2 next year. But with ZL seems like a win win for me. Note 2 revive, and I have 2nd phone. I think it's time for me to get 1080 phone. And again, LG G2 come disturbing my selection. But cam wise, seems like Xperia win among all right?

LG G2 new set is RM 1599 to RM 1699

Xperia ZL new set is 1250 to RM 1350

LG G2 wins ZL in performance, graphic, battery and many more. But if compare to Z1 then Z1 wins alot.

I recommend if you got enough budget then get LG G2 international set but if you don`t have the budget then get ZL and it very worth the penny.

So many people want to buy my faulty Note 2. Why do you think Z not for me? LG G2 international how much? G2 win over Z1 in screen and the design, but but Z1 win for built and the cam. Thin bezel and IPS sound really sweet, and cheaper than Z1 too right. Am I doing things right? Discussing other phone at the Z HQ?

yo guys, sister bought the ZL recently and had the GPS lock problem. Thing is that she lost the warranty card along with the box :sigh: , but i manage to register the phone online immediately after purchase. still can send for warranty claim?

I think Xperia Z is not suitable to you because the flaps is fragile and easily break if you accidentally pull it hard. The flaps connector white strips is only 2mm and its very thin. So if the flaps break you said before it will be a deal breaker for you.

If flaps already been a deal breaker for you then about the phone front and back glass. You said you will take care of your phone when you travel but not at home. So if you accidentally drop your phone even at home at a right angle correctly there goes your phone front and back glass it will break. The cost of replacement is RM 900 above it i am not mistaken. ( The glass on Xperia Z have few weak points and if it`s drop ngam ngam on the correct point the glass will break )

After that you said you like to play game when you bombing in toilet. So i considered you are an android gamer and you will download games on your Xperia Z phone for example. Do you know that for Xperia Z easily get hot when you play games on that phone. From there the heat will be a issue of loosing the phone water proof feature because when the excessive of heat on the phone it will make the back glass of the phone being lifted up and you will not notice and when you dunk your phone into the water then when the glass lifted up then the water will enter the phone. After that you will have a good trip to service center hehe.

Like me i just play normal Castle Clash my Xperia Z can reach 48 °C and it make me shock. Now even my phone back plate got lift up abit already. Next week i am going Service Center and repair it or see lucky go claim new.

I recommend Xperia ZL because those problem above wont happen and ZL spare parts is cheap if anything happen to your phone. ZL can play games better then Xperia Z and you don`t need to scare the heat of the phone make the behind glass lifted because ZL no glass hehe and its very secure.

If compare to Z1 for me la Z1 screen better than G2 with their TRILUMINOUS and X-Reality display. The Design of Z1 looks square abit with aluminum material makes Z1 more sturdy and good. LG G2 is plastic if i am not mistaken.
