Export Mgt, my quiz marks is quite OK la, needs to do case study & chapter summary as part of the coursework tho...still I'm worried about the group project. Final exam all in structure/essay mode, how could I share? Only thing lect told us the final questions will come from every chapter, die la

Yeap, UUMkini mostly got that. One of my friend is an active spammer there But I noticed some lecturers also involved there as well - got one Mgerial Maths lect posted there b4. Still, most of the contents there small issue become big also

Export Mgt...I can understand the contents fully, but the exam questions that is very hard to predict. Discussed it with lect b4, and he also admit that. Btw syllabus finished edy - this Thursday and the upcoming 2 weeks got no Export class

How come your syllabus can finish that fast? Mine every week has class, the lecturer speaks very fast as well... but we're still far from finishing the syllabus.

I don;t know other uum students surf what, lol.

My lect also teach us very fast....he tend to explain more then skipped the slides if he already explained the contents. I like his teaching, very energetic. Btw just submitted the Export assignment, tired now

It's about choosing a product and country, and covers everything from selection, pricing, and everything inside the book chapters. very mafan.

Individual or group? The assignment that I've submitted is the group one, have to select a company that exports overseas and make recommendations.

Group. We make our own company and products, and need to cover from chapter 3 till the end, all this inside the assignment Not sure enough time or not, left with less than 2 weeks.

Dont want to think about add/drop yet, stress liao. Even more stress thinking what subjects to take next semester and the 9000 times to refresh portal just to add 1 subject.

Make your own company and products? Sounds fun (and tough). Macam budak course Entrepreneur, lol. Anyway your mid sem covers 20 marks, rite? Our quiz just covers 10 marks only, the rest all coursework. Hmm.

So far smooth ride during add drop for me - only a few times I need to refresh. I only want to avoid long queues at COB, that's all. So far still avoid it.

Where got fun... it's very tedious. Now i'm reading International Logistics subject oso to add this into Export assignment.

Assignment covers 25% with presentation, and mid-exam probably 20%, yeah. Why u need to remind me of the mid-term

This semester, since BIBM has switched to colgis, I went to be a noob again with my friend to search for where on earth we need to manual add/drop at colgis area. For half an hour, we walked here and there, asking people where the place is.

Good thing: Queue was shorter
Bad thing: We're not familiar with the place, might have to walk ALL the way to COB if we need to check on cob subjects.

Sorry, didn't meant to remind you In my class they seems prefer most of the marks come from mid-sem rather than do the assignments, lol.

Oh, BIBM now COLGIS ah? Weird, really. Hey, COLGIS to COB the walking distance still OK la. Rather than COLGIS to CAS/DKG 4, now that's far.

Yeah, a number of courses have switched faculties now starting this semester. Even Economy is now with COB, rather than CAS. I wonder who the stupiak moved IB to colgis.... most of our subjects are business anyway.

I always walk from dkg6 to dkg 1 and 2. Takes almost 15 minutes. But imagine if u have to walk back and forth from the two places, then queue very long some more....

Yeap, that's baffling to move business management courses under COLGIS. Talking about courses, heard that some of the courses won't be offered later. UUM seems have too many courses - my lect also said that as a management-orientated uni, that's weird lol.

That's why I always try to ensure everything is finished during the online add/drop week. But more often than not, I had to changed it later

Really? I've never heard of that yet. But if they want to remove some courses, I suggest it to be Bach.Social Works, Public Management, and Development Management.

Hmm... I'll be here still between 2.5-full 3 years, I guess... since I don't come from Polytechnic and UUM is fully biased for Poly students only. I come from other college, so can't do much credit transfer. I has sadding.

Haha, I wonder the term 'management' in UUM is only for business-orientated courses or some others as well. But really, if UUM is planning to expand students capacity I wonder if those courses are needed.

3 years at max eh...both of us might finish at the same time I guess. The credit transfer, they didn't offer any explanation? Hmm, got few friends who are former diploma students as well, but they choose not to take credit transfer. Donno what reason.

Lol, I bet the name they simply put only. Got one of the top HEA staff said (i forgot who), uum applied to offer engineering course in the uni years ago, but was rejected by the higher education ministry. huhue.

But anyway, I sure hope uum won't expand the student capacity anymore without tackling current issues first: not enough bus and accommodation (some still got 3-4 ppl in a room). What I actually hope (which won't happen) is that the uni will raise the entry requirement for future freshies, so that our quality will increase. Even better requiring students to pass muet band 3 first before they can graduate.

They didn't offer any explanation, just simply said "cannot" since my diploma subjects are not listed in the transfer credit book.
