QUOTE(horns @ Dec 11 2013, 12:07 AM) it's not hard hahal! but still it's best to just wanna push and take it out Only thing that pissed me off about the R4 was the ram slots under the keyboard. But everything else was fine. My R4 came with some of the screws with the groves worn. So I had trouble getting my ram in. Had Dell site fellas come and replace the screws after a while.i think r4's internal design is much better than r5. |

Yeah, I blame whoever screwed em down the first time. Probably at the factory. To be honest, most of the screws were in bad condition when I received my R4. I had to get a technician to come and replace more than 11 screws and they still managed to make a mess out of that. So I replaced a few screws myself. |

QUOTE(Aura @ Dec 11 2013, 02:11 AM) no la.. it's about convenience LOL!QUOTE(raymondtong94 @ Dec 11 2013, 02:24 AM) just to share my experience on dismantling M18x (i think its the same as M17x). nice tip basically its just remove the back cover, the screws holding the keyboard cover and pry out the keyboard cover. then, unplug the shortcut keys cable and you are good to remove the keyboard. its practically not a hard job to access the RAM slots under the keyboard. basically tearing r4 down is quite simple.
