What is the difference in using 'unet' and 'bbnet' APN? I'm using 'unet' as APN on my mobile phone, I tether to my notebook, the connection is sometimes hit and miss.
#HOTLINK, what's your feedback?

QUOTE(password8431 @ Jan 30 2014, 04:52 PM) So stupid, they should have also disable the Share-A-Topup along with the Validity365, Hotlink5, Hotlink10, 90 days grace period..... when subscribers upgraded from old plan to #HOtlink plan. One of the first question to come from subscribers when the promo came out... was "Share-A -TOp-up" still valid??? and those idiots say .. ya, still can transfer. Now a lot of ppl are caught in a predicament.... have to topup Rm30 to keep their number instead of RM33 for a year in old plans. I guess they should ask to change back to old plans, or port out if they don't intend to be cheated by idiots. QUOTE(password8431 @ Jan 30 2014, 05:09 PM) They better have some firefighting measures, as I am sure a lot of subscribers are pissed off with such measures introduced on the #HOtlink plan. yes, can't agree more.I am sure quite a few will opt to just MNP out , and end their relationship with Maxis. A plan that looks so promising might prove to be Maxis downfall now. |

And upon activation there is a 5 day active period, upon top up how long will this active period be extended? Is it lik RM5 topup for 5 days active period?

Wow, if that's the case I'd rather retain my current youth club and get RM30 for 1GB/monthyes How about Umobile's new prepaid plan, RM10 for 10MB free high speed internet, after exceeding RM10 isit pay per use or free at capped speed? Overall its a decent plan especially for people like me. My main usage of internet is for whatsapp, fb msg and waze only and with this plan i am able to use the unlimited internet for all. Yes the line will get unstable sometimes but then its free.

I get myself a new phone and get the latest #Hotlink number to use the so call free internet services like WhatsApp and Waze.
But then again, when I read through this thread it seems that some said "share a Top-up" is not valid or required 3 mths to do so. Which is true ? I have HYC which I retained in my old phone and extended to 365 days. I do not think I will upgrade the plans and leave it as it is but for my new phone which I just want to enjoy those internet basics, am I able to transfer credit out to my HYC after the tenure of 3 mths ? |

HYC rates are good, what makes you want to switch to #hotlink where you will have to keep topping up to stay active?

"ACTIV10 is now also available to #Hotlink" Yes, Maxis made this change in response to user feedback. However, don't expect Validity 365 - no telco is going to give you "free" internet for 9 sen per day. This post has been edited by dgboy: Mar 1 2014, 04:53 PM |

QUOTE(dgboy @ Mar 1 2014, 04:43 PM) "ACTIV10 is now also available to #Hotlink" It would be good if users have option to subscribe to 128kbps plan. Don't mind paying a monthly for it. Just a suggestion.Yes, Maxis made this change in response to user feedback. However, don't expect Validity 365 - no telco is going to give you "free" internet for 9 sen per day.
