yes, except if you buy a pass while active you can continue using the pass till expiry, even when that's after your credit expiry date.

just to have validity365 available for #hotlink, but the charges can be more than rm33/year of course. and/or they can set a certain requirement like minimum reload amount within that 1 year.
*
isn't that #hotlink disable activ365 already? as mentioned in their website.

I thought that the account must be active then only can buy internet packages? Unless you bought the package before your account is expired right?

yes, must be active when subscribe.. and I don't imagine the monthly internet would auto renew if inactive.

Guys is it possible to change go other plans let's say #hotlink to basic plan. I just ported over to get 365 validity and don't really need the internet. Called Maxis and they say cannot but maybe you guys know of any other way?

that's my suggestion to maxis/hotlink that they still can give users validity365 for #hotlink plan, maybe charge higher than rm33/year and impose requirements for reloading within the 365 days period. better than not allowing validity365 for #hotlink at all.

assuming maxis won't be of this kind bcoz they bank on users to keep reloading their account staying active only then can enjoy the basic free internet.

else if only one fees per year, users can what'sapp whole year, no sms, no call.... maxis financially crisis.

months ago, a top executive from a singapore telco even suggesting they start to charge singaporean using whatsapp and the like apps sweat.gif

obciously their target is for users to keep reloading.
but seriously, reload rm1 for 1day validity for some people like me who rarely sms and call really hard to finish sweat.gif
only umobile were kind enough to give longer validity for each reload.

Hi, I would like to ask some question about #Hotlink plan before I decide to MNP smile.gif

1) For example if I purchase RM40 (RM30 + RM10 separately) top-up every month, did I get extra 10 days to bring forward to next month? (I mean is RM40=40days validity?)
2) What is the average H+ and LTE speed for #Hotlink 1GB RM30 plan? (Any location is okay just wanna see its speed)
3) Is the LTE connection stable for you?

Thank you very much smile.gif

For #1, you can try this page: http://new.hotlink.com.my/en/rewards/top-up-rewards.html

For connectivity, #Hotlink LTE will only be available if you subscribe to the mobile internet plans. Coverage and speed will depend on area. Just as long your plan is still valid, then you can have the basic 64kbps at no extra charge.

I suggest you just buy a sim pack, subscribe to the 1 day mobile internet pass and try out in the areas you frequent. See if the connection is good enough for you before you port in with your main line.
