Because of this video, I'm thinking can I just swap the slider/stem without desoldering->solder to make it mx ergo clear.

Yup, that is what we call a PCB mounted board.

Very few mainstream mass market boards are PCB mounted.

Though, most korean custom can be either pcb/plate mounted, depend whichever you want.

Seems like pcb mounted is rare.
Even this 12 years old Access Keyboard(POS) with MX Black also plate mounted.
http://www.access-is.com/pdf/AKC080_Progra...le_Keyboard.pdf

I thought I can easily replace the slider on it.
Thanks for midnight2903 & Human10 for clarifications.

Their bottom row (Ctrl, spacebar and so on) is R0 height right? hmm.gif

p/s: At this rate, we may need V19 in 1-2days time. brows.gif

V20 by end of 2013 is possible yoh.

But from all the drills, it do seems like quite similar to vintage Cherry, having the extra high and sharp R0 heigh bottom row, may be my eye problem, LOL. rclxub.gif

for this i have to ask previous taihao owner to clarify already.
if you look on the keycaps, even ASDF is taller than black caps lock LOL.
maybe SetsunaFSeiei Exia00 can do a comparison.

That is stepped caps lock, with a distant from ASD, hence appeared taller. It should be similar height.

Also, the bottom row really appeared to have a tall slope, similar to that of vintage old cherry R0 height,

R0 might be similar to A profile which is even taller.
B profile is the regular one nowadays, in cherry term.
